Beautiful place, quaint and quirky, with cosy restaurant complete with fireplace and bar. Lester the host was extremely welcoming, made us a great meal and offered suggestions of local walks. Kindly upgraded us to a room with private bathroom as that was available at no extra cost. Loved the massage chair, great place to stay after avalanche peak walk (15 mins drive further up Arthur's pass away from Christchurch but nice to drive that extra portion of road). Cheers Lester!

The room was the same as the pictures and felt cosy. The host was friendly and welcomed us warmly. What I like the most is the bathroom, which comes with a bathtub. The kitchen is small, but it has everything we need.

Amazing house, with everything you need to cook, and many games, books and puzzles to have a good time (and super comfy bed). Spacious living room and balcony to relax after hiking; hiking trails literally at your door steps, but also many others at short driving distances. Extremely friendly and helpful hosts. This park was everything we hoped for when booking. Stacey was an absolute asset, she was so helpful, so kind and really cared about her guests! - The 40 minute waterfall walk was everything the kids dreamed of! Having a playground onsite for the kids was probably the biggest highlight. - The glow worms are all throughout the park we even had some on the bank behind our tent! - They have a very basic shop onsite as well which is awesome because there's always something that you forget! - I didn't use the laundry here although they do offer coin washing machines. The showers were cleaned daily, the lounge had plenty of space and you could cook in here and use the fridge/freezer.

It’s very elegant and well maintained. The common kitchen was fabulous. Really enjoyed everything.
