We had a great stay at River Farm Retreat. The place was really clean, comfy, and had plenty of space for everyone. The location was perfect for our rafting trip at Awastone, and we loved the beautiful walk nearby too. Everything was well set up and made for a really easy, relaxing stay. The Lancewood Lodge is surrounded by beautiful gardens and feels very homely. Set back from the road, it is quiet and the rooms are a good size, with comfortable beds. The friendly greeting from Rhys on arrival made this a much more personal stay than most places I've stayed with work and is very convenient near Ohakea.

Liked room hot tub pool bulls in the field and that a family who ran the place were on site. It reminded me of a camp I volunteered at in the 1980’s in NSW Australia.
