Divers Paradise Boutique Hotel features a terrace, bar and on-site dining in Bocas Town. With free WiFi, this hotel offers free airport shuttle service and a 24-hour front desk. Wow! Didnt expect that it will be like this. This is not only paradise for divers but also others. The atmosphere is vibrant - divers, free divers, pilots, occasional sailors (by saying vibrant pls dont think there are crazy parties here and roudy bunches of people) Everything is soooo nice here including ceiling fans :-). Staff are amazing. Location perfect - close to everything but not in the middle of the town where I guess would be noiser. Meals delicious. Try Anaika’s Bloody Mary (recipe aquired from a BM specialist) and Piña Colada. Also try their Carabean Soup, you will not regret. Room we had was 212 overlooking the sea. Lovely, spacious, super clean, new fragnant fluffy towels...Beautiful open restaurant (check the ceiling fans). And the Diver Center is just awesome. Momo and the rest are super nice and professional. Would recommend them highly - especially my partner’s free diving instructor Sheena! Big thank you to her!!!
STAY Bocas is conveniently located right next to the airport of Bocas del Toro. Offering 6, simple, clean, comfortable guest rooms with private bathrooms. Stay Bocas is a very nice and calm place to enjoy and relaxing on Bocas del Toro. Jorge and his staff are very kind and helpful. They make you feel at home. The breakfast is very good. We loved the fresh fruits and the chocolate marshmallow cornflakes. The rooms are very clean and were cleaned every day. The terrace is a cool place to chill after discovering the islands. The location is next to the airport, but you won't notice it as noisy. The bank is very close and restaurants and supermarkets are also not far. To get to the port you need like 5-10 Minutes by walking. You can rent also a bike at stay bocas.
Offering free WiFi, Azul Paradise Bocas is located in Bocas Town. This 4-star hotel offers free shuttle service. The property has a concierge service, and organizing tours for guests. The View I still cannot get over the view from our room. Our room had floor to ceiling windows overlooking the Caribbean. We drifted off to sleep on dream like mattresses and awoke to breathtaking views of the water. The morning breakfast was exceptional. There was a nice variety of dishes and they were served to perfection. During the day we took a taxi to a fun beach bar and at night we found ourselves enjoying the night life of the Caribbean strip. We couldn’t have chosen a better location and hotel for our getaway.
Aqui hoy cabañas are built on the water, features free WiFi and views of mountain in Solarte. The property features a bar, as well as a restaurant serving Caribbean cuisine.
Urraca Private Island offers its guests an outdoor pool and a restaurant well known for its culinary reputation. Free WiFi access is also available in the property. The monkeys were awesome and the place is unique. There is no land as it's built in and around a mangrove island. The place is very safe, you can swim everywhere, and Francine lets the monkeys out to interact with the guests, which is super fun. I got attached to Tootsie the female Capuchin and Francine let me hold her, twice. The food was fantastic and accommodating, and the bugs weren't bad. Overall, a unique, fantastic experience.
This rustic-style hotel is located on Isla Bastimentos island near the caribbean archipielago region of Bocas del Toro where you can enjoy a variety of eco-tourism activities and biodiversity. We absolutely loved this place! If you are looking for pristine beaches, good diving or snorkeling this is the place. It’s also perfect for couples who like to have some interaction with other couples, exchanging travel stories because the breakfast, lunch and dinner are served at a big table. We loved this because we met really nice couples and had a wonderful time at dinner. The food is incredible. We went SUP at sunset, kayaking and did the snorkeling tour to Cayo Zapatillas which was exquisite because Jacobo took us to a very beautiful coral reef first and then to Cayo Zapatillas beach, right before all the boats loaded with tourists arrive from Bocas. Jacobo also drove the boat really slowly on our way back, and spotted a nurse shark which we could watch from the boat. We can not praise his professionalism enough and think he should get a raise ;) Al natural is for those who love nature and are not afraid of sleeping in an open space (the huts have no walls). We did feel that our stuff was very secure because there’s a safe and a cabinet where you can lock up your luggage. The suitcases were too big to fit in there so we locked them up in the bathroom. ( we did have our own extra lock tough).
Providing free WiFi, Island Plantation (Adults Only) is set in Bluff Beach. Each accommodations at the 5-star hotel has sea views, and guests can enjoy access to a private beach area and to a garden. Island Plantation is absolutely gorgeous! We felt so priviledged to spend time in this pristine, lovely part of Bocas del Toro. Between the jungle and the beach, if you are looking for an off the grid experience with all the beautiful taste and comfort of a high quality boutique hotel, IP has found the sweet spot. There are very few places left in the world where you can walk for miles on a deserted beach, hike trails full of wildlife: birds, monkeys, sloths....and then relax around a gorgeous pool and enjoy excellent food, wine and cocktails. The deluxe suite for a family of 3 was so comfortable and just perfect (very clean, not ONE bug, very nice style touches!) I just hope Bluff Beach can retain its beauty and relatively low density. Its also a quiet, beautiful base for exploring other islands and Bocas town. Thanks to Herolf, Chris, Choy and the crew for a fabulous time.
Offering an outdoor pool and a restaurant, Bocas Ridge Hotel & Residences is located in Bocas del Toro. The hotel offers quick access to the area’s natural sights and has an on-site tour desk. Each room has a balcony overlooking the Caribbean and the property is well landscaped.
Offering an à la carte restaurant, bar and terrace, Hotel Posada Los Delfines is located 1476 feet from Bocas del Toro main square. Manager was EXTREMELY helpful and accommodating. We had unexpected circumstances that under normal conditions would have been unworkable by most but was handled flawlessly, above and beyond all expectations.
Hotel Casa Max is located right on the Caribbean Sea in Bocas del Toro. It is 2-minute walk from the town center and has a restaurant and free Wi-Fi. The staff was super nice, great location, comfortable bed, cold AC, and friendly hotel cat.

It is a tatty little town with poor sanitation so smelly near the water. If you are an under thirty back packer and your needs are sunshine, edible food, and endless drinks until late into the night you will probably like it. More mature visitors who have developed a taste for better will hate it. Travelling extensively throughout Panama this past 2 months we notice that there were an equal number of affluent Panamanians as tourists, but not in Bocas Town, they obviously know better. My wife was born in Panama, speaks fluent Spanish, loves Panama and it's people but had never been to Bocas Del Toro and she did not like it. We did have a pleasant day at Starfish beach which was very nice and there really are many starfish. We did not have a chance to visit but I am sure there are other remote beaches that are also good with much less pollution being more remote from Bocas Town. Another tip if you plan to drive be advised there is major road work for 180 km along Pan American starting after Santiago so expect a long drive, it took us 8 hours from Coronado area. Final tip never, never think about staying the night in Almirante in order to take your car across on early 7.00am ferry, it is a desperate place you will regret staying assuming you can find an hotel. In any event you do not need a car in Bocas Town everything is within easy walking distance, and you will need to catch cheap water taxi anyway to visit any of the other islands.
Bocas del Toro in general is awesome. The town is nice with some great restaurants. I found Panamanian people overall to be fairly nice but really don't seem to care whether tourists are there or not. Beaches and food are amazing with tons of excursions, water sports, etc.
Bocas del Toro is incredibly dirty, trash everywhere, bottles, garbage in the streets, urine smell, dogs running wild eating trash, and this was just what you could see with the naked eye. I can only imagine what goes on in ktichens of restaurants! One day in town, we saw vultures picking through garbage on the street!!! It's a shame because the island itself offers beautiful views, but the area is completely run down. I will never go back.
Bocas del Toro was fun and memorable. Highlights include a boat tour around the islands and a great lobster meal fixed by Derrick at his sidewalk kiosk grill on the island of Bastimento.
Bastimentos is an island with several different areas. Al Natural Resort is at the eastern tip, secluded and quiet. At the other end, near to the town of Bocas del Toro is a village, I think sometimes called Old Bank, which is busy and loud with music. There are also good beaches on the ocean side, Red Frog Beach, Wizard Beach and others. Some can only be reached by hiking, others by boat. There are other resorts on Bastimentos as well, some entirely in the jungle. Also there is an indigenous village of the Ngobe-Bugle people which you can visit and hire a guide to take you hiking and show you the wildlife and plant life. A few places are a bit trashy, sometimes from washing up on the beach, but it's minor. The weather is typically in the upper 80's in the day and upper 70's at night and it may rain a lot. But that's what makes the rainforest which is rich and varied. Although some people live on Bastimentos year round, it is off the beaten track.
An awesome central location for going / seeing the entire Bocas Islands. Everything / all the activities that Bocas del Toro offers are easily accessible. Great little town with lots of local flare, great selection of restaurants with local foods and lots of seafood options to choose from.
I would stay on Bocas del Toro and take water taxis to beaches or attractions.
Beautiful islands, nice hotels on the water. Very close to Bocas del Toro but far enough away to enjoy the tranquility.
Bocas Del Toro is a beautiful island destination with sandy beaches and nature. Great events and tours are a key part of visiting the islands. The prices are high as everything is geared toward tourists. What was particularly disturbing was the garbage in the polluted waters. This is definitely not an ecotourism destination, and it's sad to see the beautiful nature such as the corals dying. Hopefully the locals realize this before it's too late.
Bocas Del Toro is a beautiful group of island. Bocas town, the main town is nice to go out in but is definitely not the gem of Bocas. Get out of town either on a Boat or the road to the beaches to truly experience how beautiful Bocas is.

The best thing about Hotelito Del Mar is its location. It is right in the heart of town in Bocas del Toro. We took the Valencia boat service to the island, and were pleasantly surprised to walk across the street and find we were "home." The staff was welcoming and helpful. The facility was good - comfortable and clean. We had everything we needed. It's not "luxury" nice, full of marble and fancy lighting. That is not typical of Bocas. For the area, this is one of the best facilities.

It was our first time to visit Bocas del Toro and we chose the Sun Havens Apartments & Suites after reading the reviews. We had big hopes and did not get disappointed. Maurizio welcomed us and we felt immediately home. He gave us very helpful information about the island and he was always available. Very safe and quiet place and only a couple of minutes away from the main street. A supermarket was just around the corner - very convenient. We'll always come back. Thanks again for everything, Maurizio!!!

This is by far the best hotel in isla Colon and Bocas del Toro. My boyfriend, his sister and I stayed for 5 nights and we loved every part of it. It’s close enough to bocas town (a quick 7min ride). The room was clean and the beds are pretty confortable. We loved the swimming pool and using the kayaks. The food is good and the happy hour drinks are great! All staff are nice and friendly!

Beautiful facility with gray owner. Cesar is the owner who love his properties and work. You can view the Caribbean ocean and Bocas del Toro island and the mountains. We stay in 2 bedrooms apartment with washer, dryer and kitchen. Will recommend anyone who want to have vacation to stay her for short or longer time. This is one of the best hotel we've stayed.

This resort is incredible... from the cloud-like beds to the smiling staff we couldnt have asked for anything better. The bungalows are so comfortable and quiet. We fell asleep every night to the gentle sounds of waves on the rock reef and woke up to sun reflecting off the water and into the windows of our bungalow. The food is delicious as well. We looked forward to every meal and had plenty of mojitos to tide us over while we waited! The pool was very clean and refreshing, nice if you want to have an unsalted swim, but the sea is so clear and calm we spent most of our afternoons snorkeling and paddleboarding. The resort offers all of that equipment for free and they help you move everything in and out of the water. All the boat transfers were organized perfectly. This trip was flawless. Thank you so much Azul Staff for making this trip so perfect for us!

Had a great time at Palmar! The location is just beautiful. Sleeping in the green jungle and two steps away from the white beach. The staff is very friendly and prepare delicious food and cocktails. There are activities in the evening so people join together like bonfires, live music, gamesnight etc. So for a solo traveller easy to get to know others! Loved practicing yoga at the most beautiful yoga deck. Would definitely come back here to spend some more time!

Great location! Right in Bocas Town near everything but still quiet enough to sleep at night. The front desk reception was wonderful too. We got to check in early and asked for a late check out due to our flight being changed and for $20 they allowed us to stay late. The place was very clean and comfortable! Definitely recommend. The restaurant owner was super accommodating as well, offering to make us an early dinner before our flight! Bueno bueno!! 😊

Great location. Upon check in we were provided with an upgrade to the sea view room without asking! Awesome! We didn’t try the food but there were many places nearby. Clean room with amazing balcony. Great maid service, good water pressure in the shower. A/C a bit noisy but very effective. Would stay here again!

Best hotel in Bocas!! The rooms were clean, beds were super comfy, staff was great and breakfast was good. The pool is really what sets it apart though, was nice to have a place to cool off without having to take a water taxi to the beach!!
