The hotel was very well kept, had a pool and a very comfortable bed. I felt at home. The front desk people were very helpful especially Wilder who helped get aquí antes with the city and take care of a bunch of different things.

Lovely, clean and comfortable room with a balcony. It looks very new and everything was in good condition. The breakfast was very good and made a nice change from having eggs every day. We were given corn and cheese, Andean potatoes and plenty of bread, jam, fruit juice. We would happily stay again.

In a small town with few accommodation options, this hotel stands out albeit with some quirkiness. The staff are very friendly and helpful, and the rooms on the outside have large windows and terraces that provide ample light and fresh air. There are inner rooms with windows facing the centre atrium that have less light. The rooms are clean and the bed is comfortable. Overall, it is a striking (attractive) building and a short walk to the downtown tiendas. There is one outstanding restaurant in town not within walking distance: Sofia Restaurant Fusion. The main floor has a commercial kitchen, a beautiful dining room with dated restaurant menus on display and across the hall at the back a room that looks like it was once a disco with a small bar. Each of the rooms have a desk (study nook) with an ethernet cable, making it look like it might have been a student residence at one time. I'd recommend the owners install photographs to show the history of the building because it is quite intriguing.

I waited for my boyfriend to do the Choquequirao, and stayed 5 nights/days. A well needed retreat of calm and tranquility. The hotel is well located, a bit apart from the village, comfortable rooms and a nice terrasse to chill. Elisabeth is really nice, helpful with information, tips and logistic, she really made me feel at home. She grows vegetables next door that she can cook for dinner at a good price.
