We had an exceptional stay. The staff were extremely friendly and helpful. The resort was beautiful. The cafe food (both local and continental options) and coffee were great. There is free shuttle provided to Alona Beach that is very convenient. Motorcycle rental is available on site. Also a big thank you for the arrangement for the sea port transfer.

Expensive Alona beach- not impressive at all.

Expensive Alona beach- not impressive at all. Activities like the country tour wasnt bad. BUT alot of touristy places( like loboc river cruise) dint accept credit card- i dont understand why!). Tickets are expensive, Food served in the cruise is very salty. Havent visted other beaches, since its so expensive to move around the area( always need to hire a van service) since we are a group of 7 . Gets expensive! No area to walk along alona beach- all occupied by tables and chairs of establishments. Have to pay to take pictures even by the carved sand- its a rip off!

We visited The Chocolate Hills. Tarsier Manmade forest The Oceanica Resort (beach) our favorite place..and nice to chill and to swim and the food are good too in there restaurant and they have lots of choices in their menu. Where we eat also in the restaurant of our hotel which is Alona by Jpark Island Resort for convenient and easier for us.

The advantage of being self-catering is that you can get European bread and sausages. As well good foreign Restaurants. Except for the area in Alona, ​​riding a motorcycle is very safe. Snorkeling and diving in Balicasag and Napaling Reef nice. Bohol daily trips anyway

Not the best in Philippines. Not very nice for swimming. If it wasn’t for the Loboc river and the activities near the chocolate hills I personally wouldn’t choose this island for the water activities and islands hopping.

Really recommend Bohol Farm!

Really recommend Bohol Farm! Their ice cream is incredible, and the food is great too. We got a tour of the farm, which was super nice. Getting around is quite easy, there are three main road that go around the island, and there are tuktuks for hire everywhere. I rented a moped, which actually felt quite safe, as there were few big cars. Alona beach is definitely worth a visit. I'd recommend doing a countryside tour too, to see a lot of the sights of Bohol in one day.
