NetherlandsThis is a very beautiful hotel. Large, clean rooms, balcony is the same size, as a room, ocean view, has a big pool, a bar and a restaurant with a huge variety of dishes.
The staff were super friendly, always helpful.
Good place to snorkel, lots of fish and turtles.
We really enjoyed our stay and we hope to be back soon.

The resort is quite huge. We enjoyed walking at the beach as it has a lot of spaces like swings, benches, sun beds etc. The rooms are also spacious and clean. Peanut kisses is refilled everyday as well as coffees and teas. The staff are incredibly the best in providing excellent customer service. I have been travelling a lot of countries and cities, I would say people in Bohol especially in Oceanic are the very genuine and kind. You can trust the staff without being concerned of begging to address your issues ot paying extra tips for extra help you need.
I definitely recommend as well trying the breakfast buffet as they provide freshly cooked meals everyday and fresh fruits!

The property was incredibly amazing you have all you need. Relaxation, entertainment and more. Everything was perfect.. we love how they really preserve those old stuffs for the museum, our room was a perfect view for sunrise and sunset. The staff really maintained the cleanliness and tidiness of the property. And what we loved about them ,they were well trained, professionals and friendly. May they continue their good service and maintain the place. Its a paradise.

The houses are very comfortable overlooking the huge pool. Very quiet and peaceful.
Food was good. The free rides to/from town is a huge bonus also the free transport to/ from airport.
We had a late flight and they let us stay by the pool after check out.
They offer great massages.

The place was very nice. Staff were very friendly and accommodating. It was close to the party scene of Alona Beach and to some shops for essential items to buy. It is also accessible to local transportation to go around places in Panglao.

Very relaxing and safe environment for holidays, for a couple or a family. People are very friendly there. There is much to see: the tarsiers, Chocolate Hills, the beaches, etc...The island is clean and well preserved.
Transportation with Tuk Tuk is good, funny, safe and cheap. At Alona Beach the atmosphere at night is really nice, festive yet not loud, cafes, bars and restaurants offer outdoor dining on the beach. A bit like Boracay but less crowded. We loved Panglao and we will return there.

Panglao exceeded my expectations.
Panglao exceeded my expectations. It's the perfect mix of relaxation and adventure, and the Filipino hospitality made the trip even better.
Beaches: The white sand and turquoise water are beautiful. Alona Beach is lively, with restaurants, bars and sunset views, while quieter spots are perfect if you want to unwind. Go early in the morning for the calmest water and the fewest people.
Food: Fresh seafood, grilled fish and local Filipino dishes at very reasonable prices. Try the fresh mango and the local specialities. Most restaurants accept cards, but it's worth carrying cash anyway.
Snorkelling: Balicasag Island was a highlight. The coral is lovely, the marine life is rich, and we saw plenty of colourful fish and even sea turtles.
ATV adventure: Muddy, bumpy and a lot of fun. Wear clothes you don't mind getting dirty, and bring cash for the entrance fees.
Chocolate Hills: The view is worth the climb up to the viewpoint. Go early or late to avoid the heat and the crowds.
Cave swimming: Hinagdanan Cave was a great surprise. Swimming in the cool, clear water inside the cave was a unique experience.
Other highlights: The Loboc River cruise with lunch, the tarsier sanctuary (please keep your distance and no flash), and the Bohol countryside tour were all memorable.
Tips: Bring cash, sunscreen, a hat and reef-safe products. Booking tours through your accommodation can save you time and money.
Overall: A trip full of beautiful scenery, exciting activities and kind people. I would go back in a heartbeat!

The island is great and it is relatively clean as opposed other places I have visited within the Philippines. People are nice and the overall vibe is very relaxing. Alona beach is definitely the spot if you want the most amount of options when it comes to dining, bars, and social activities.

Really recommend Bohol Farm!
Really recommend Bohol Farm! Their ice cream is incredible, and the food is great too. We got a tour of the farm, which was super nice.
Getting around is quite easy, there are three main road that go around the island, and there are tuktuks for hire everywhere. I rented a moped, which actually felt quite safe, as there were few big cars.
Alona beach is definitely worth a visit. I'd recommend doing a countryside tour too, to see a lot of the sights of Bohol in one day.
