The restaurant has vegetarian options which was great for us too. About 10min walking distance to the 'center' of Moalbal if you want different dining options.

This was a home away from home. The owners were a lovely couple who went above and beyond to ensure we had a great stay. The staff was very warm, friendly and welcoming. The hotel itself was lovely, quiet and kept very clean! The location was a 5min walk to Mist, and 10min to the Alone Beach main road. The beds were very comfy. Altogether, this was a wonderful stay and I would reccommend this 100% to everyone visiting Bohol. I'd definitely stay there again.

Look no farther if you head to TAG! Very nice brandnew hotel. The quality of the bedding including pillows is awesome. Very nice and helpful staff. Property tucked away in a quiet place and yet very close to the airport. Hotel tastefully designed and arranged. We do recommend staying there. Actually we will be back soon.

Providing free WiFi, Anahaw Seaside Inn is located in Bantayan Island, a few steps from Kota Beach and a 10-minute walk from Sugar Beach. Some units at the property feature a balcony with a sea view. Staff very kind and helpfull. Hotell area and room is clean, all very well maintained. Nice and homy asian decor and the roof terrace is a great place to hang and cool down at the ocean breeze. We had a small room, but enough size and all worked well, water pressure at the shower great, safety box, fridge, enought storage for glothes. Great and quiate location in Santa Fe village and the beach is like 30m distance. They rent scooters at the hotell. Breakfast is good, you can choose between locals or continental, and you can get coffee in a thermos so enough to start the morning. We booked 4 nights on advance but extended our stay for 3 more, loved the hotel and the island.

The hotel itself- is very chic and exceeds our expectation. Lives up to its 5-Star status. The location was superb-away from the bustling crowd of the White Sand beach area. Security was good. Staff are well-trained-- very professional, polite, friendly and very helpful. The swimming pool was excellent and staff accomodated my request to leave it open for another 30-mins until 9:30pm, as I wanted to use the pool because we checked-in, just shortly after 8pm. The room is spacious. Room service/cleaning was excellent. Cleanliness within the facility was excellent. I will definitely stay again for my future trip(s) to Boracay.

Better Cebu than Manila
I used Cebu city as my layover hub to go to Bohol, Alona, moalboal, and Camotes Island. Cebu is a big city without the stresses that Manila has. The taxi drivers use meters and never tried to cheat me. Maybe because my appearance looks threatening, ha-ha I don't know. Anyway the visayas is a whole lot better than Luzon.

I used to live here. So I may be a little biased, but I love Dauin. It's a central hub for all things in the Visayas region: Apo Island, Siquijor, transportation to Dumaguete and Cebu, snorkeling, scuba diving, etc. The people are wonderful, and there are even a couple extra hangout spots after a long day of being away from the hotel room. Please stop at the market to try filipino delicacies and foods. It's a necessary experience. Shot out to Rosalinda restaurant next to El Dorado. The food there is great!

The Whaleshark Capital of the Visayas - Oslob, also known as the home of the Gentle Giants. Watch Oslob whale sharks for a remarkable experience however please be mindful of the rules and regulations to help maintain a healthy Oslob marine life. Take a quick boat ride to Sumilon. The gorgeous Sumilon Island Sandbar and Diving Site remains a sublimely idyllic beach escape as it was temporarily closed to the public for about 6 days for a major clean up. Imagine what Boracay would be after its rehabilitation. Just a few meters from the whale shark watching resorts and Port Sumilon is the hidden beach of Cangcua-ay. Walk a hundred steps down and you will be greeted by what seems to be the gates of paradise. After all the beach bumming, immerse yourself in the local culture by visiting the Poblacion. Found behind the somewhat busy streets of Oslob Poblacion, the Oslob Heritage Park boasts of century old structures, unfinished buildings made of coral blocks and spanish era barracks.

We stayed at One Central Hotel both upon our arrival and just before our departure on a recent three-week trip to the Central Visayas Islands of the Philippines. Although other travelers noted this was an "iffy" part of Cebu City, after becoming comfortable with traveling in the country, we realized the hotel is actually very centrally located and within walking distance of Carbon Market, which made for an amazing morning of browsing and photography. Great breakfast too!
