They provided all the necessary information about the area and were always available to help, making me feel truly taken care of throughout my stay. The location is unbeatable—just a short walk from the harbor, beach, and main square, with plenty of restaurants and shops nearby. The hotel itself is very new and impeccably clean, with full amenities including an elevator. I particularly enjoyed the common library, perfect for some quiet reading or work, and the charming small garden. Everything in the hotel was in perfect working order.

United StatesExcellent gem in the old city center of Angra. Newly opened hotel in old historic building with modern amenities. The king bed, air conditioning, staff and all the extras made this a perfect refuge while still being in middle of Azores island of Terceira. The only downside is the street itself is on a very typical narrow European street which makes driving and parking challenging. The hotel is close to opening their own parking lot but taxi is definitely the way to go. Hands down one of the nicest boutique hotels on the island.

Loved it! Such a beautiful spot and view. We loved sitting with the doors open onto the view out to sea. The owners are really friendly and helpful. It’s really lovely inside with the view from the bath and we liked the fresh bread hatch in the morning!

Great place to stay for a visit to Terceira. Excellent central location with beautiful view of the harbour. Breakfast buffet was top notch. Very nice pool and tanning area. Enjoyed having a night cap at the roof top bar. Pleasant and helpful staff.

Beautiful. There are many fascinating old buildings, cozy cafes, great beaches, and steep hills to climb. Great nature reserve at Monte Brasil. The people are very friendly. Quite a few facilities in this small little town. Very relaxing.

Being close to the airport, you can even walk there. It's right next to the beach, with access to water sports, bars, restaurants, and supermarkets. Plus, you can easily get around using public transport. The receptionist who helped me with the booking process was very helpful and professional. I highly recommend this accommodation.

Its a small island formed from multiple volcano calderas.
Its a small island formed from multiple volcano calderas. There are plenty of fantastic viewpoints. Its much less taken over by tourism than other bigger islands so you really feel authentic.
Food and drink is very cheap and even excursions/trips are fairly affordable. Car hire etc has less choice than a bigger island. We hired a 125cc scooter which was a great way to explore the island.
Many of the shops/bars speak English, but plenty of the locals do not. If you can learn a little Portuguese before you go it will definitely help.

There is not a lot going on in this town.
There is not a lot going on in this town. Most visitors spend only an hour or two at the shore. For the extra day Trilha Rocha do Chambra is an inland hike closer to Biscoitos than Angra. The shore walk to Quatro Ribeiras gives some good shore views. In late May it was cloudy every day; but no rain. There is one very food restaurant in town: Botequim o Baghulho.

Go stay somewhere nicer on Terceira. I only stayed in the very windy village of Lajas for one night to be closer to the airport for my very early flight. There are some restaurants here but don't expect much. Praia do Vitoria is nearby if you like to hear airplanes overhead.

Hilly nice little town with historical center and marina. Not easy to drive through and park, but excellent for walking. Not many souvenir shops, and lots of cheap Chinese fake products but comparing to other towns in Azores this one is quite big.
Bars, restaurants and bistros are there but these are not the best, they are sufficient though.
The natural reserve on peninsula with citadel and military base is extraordinary. Great view and experience, nice for picnic or hiking!

A very comfortable and pleasant town for living and staying, with very nice people, and an overall good atmosphere. There is enough to see and to enjoy, from food, ice-creams, and cafes. It also has a lovely small market where you can eat as well, and opposite a garden with a nice sitting area. It has all possible shops, a large grocery, it's surrounded by hills, and much green. There are many very nice old houses, nicely renovated
We are not young, so I can't say. There is a very nice and spacious beach with fine black sand
The town is a little bit on a hill, but by walking down, you can enjoy a very nice view of the sea. This is also the heart of the town.
Another good trip is a walk the monup the hill to ument. It can be walked from both sides, both offering very nice views all around.
Moving around without a car is quite difficult

I really liked Biscoitos because of the natural pools and the cafe where you can sit and enjoy the sunset. It also has bakeries and restaurants and a wine museum. The location is great for visiting the whole island. I would definitely choose to stay in Biscoitos again.

Praia da Vitoria is an interesting, clean, attractive town to walk around at any time of day. The people are friendly and helpful. The food outlets are varied, from quiet quality restaurants to burger bars and excellant coffee/cake shops. The transport links are good and the bus ride into Angra is not to be missed. Prices of food are a lovely surprise, for two people from €6 for latte and cake, €9 for coffee and sandwich, €20 for a main, beer and coffee to €50 for a three course with excellent wine. Beaches are clean and seem very safe.
