The location is great, the view in our balcony was superb! Indeed, the carpet is old, the bathroom is basic, but we had hot water & heating. Before you guys, give little stars to this hotel, think that the other 4 stars hotels are much more expensive. The area itself is expensive.

It is a very nice place and the host is extremely kind. The hotel is located very close to the touristic attractions. Also, we had at our disposal a nice kitchen, a beautiful garden (very nice for children), coffee machine and many others... Thanks again for the warm welcome !

Perfect for a 3 days escape, we always make this 3 hours car...

Perfect for a 3 days escape, we always make this 3 hours car trip to Durau to relax, as a getaway from the city, it is like a tradition. You have everything in place, always availabilities for room booking, great view and sightseeing, good place to eat, a whole day can be spent outside! You won't feel time passing by! Try it!

Durau is a good location for tourists who come to go hiking...

Durau is a good location for tourists who come to go hiking on the mountain trails on Mount Ceahlău. Accommodation in the area is very expensive compared to the services offered. The services offered by hoteliers and other service providers are disappointing compared to the price charged. uCompared to Vatea Dornei where the services are at least 2 times better than in Durău. I say this because I was two days after Durau in Vatra Dornei (Bucovina).

We didn't plan to go here specifically but once we got there...

We didn't plan to go here specifically but once we got there we booked the hotel room for another night. We had an exciting yet terrifying walk to the waterfall . The mountains are amazing and the air is just what the doctor prescribed. Plus as a resort,it had everything: entertainment, great food and even a couple of stores to buy essentials. I honestly wish we could have stayed longer but we had to get to our destination. If I was to have a short holiday there once a few months ,than life would be easier.
