GermanyPerfect and quiet place close to the lake in a small peaceful village. New building, well decorated, everything is working and super clean. The owners are not just friendly but help you doing a delta cruise for example or anything else. Roof top terrace is great to enjoy at sunset time with a drink or dinner. Highly recomended...fish dishes! Breakfast is very nice, with changing few items every day. English...no problem! From my side I give 11 points!

RomaniaI liked very much the privacy. The bungalows offer very private accomodation and the jacuzzi was exceptional. Also the facilities of the complex were very good, with kayaks and hydro bicycles offered free of charge, and also fishing equipment. The playground for kids was nice as well. And the breakfast was very good, with buffet for cold dishes, and a la carte for warm dishes (you could pick from 5-6 options). All in all, we had a very pleasant and relaxing stay and we would definitely visit again.

We really enjoyed our stay. The rooms were clean and comfortable, and the whole place had a relaxed, welcoming vibe. One of the things we loved most was the setup with three buildings and three pools—we had the freedom to use any of them. We usually chose the one near the restaurant and bar so we could enjoy a drink or have lunch right after a swim, which was super convenient.
The food was also great! We especially loved the buffet at breakfast and dinner—plenty of tasty options for us, and our little one always found something she liked, which made mealtimes easy and stress-free.
She also had a fantastic time playing in the pool and exploring the playground area. It’s definitely a family-friendly place. We also went on a boat trip organized from the location, and it was a lovely experience. We visited a quiet lake and a wild beach—peaceful and beautiful.
All in all, we were very happy and would definitely recommend it for a relaxing family holiday.

Choose this if you want to stay in Danube Delta. We stayed in a bungalow which is very private and super cute. They have a sister hotel Nena which is located directly at the canal but from Sharaiman it’s 5 minutes walking.
Very carefully crafted decorations make a lovely ambience.
Nice pool with deck chairs to use.
AMAZING FOOD! Go for whatever the waiter recommends and you will be so happy.
Also a boat trip was organized just for us - there are different routes you can choose from. We were lucky to spot different kinds of bird species.
This is a remote location, perfect if you are looking for peace, quiet and nature.
Nice fireplace to sit by in the evening.

The host was kind and friendly to offer details about what to visit around Jurilovca.I liked that we had a kitchen and a big livingroom downstairs.The location was close to the port.I liked the garden/terrace of this pension.

Great placen ideal to the Danube delta (because Tulcea is not really beautifull). Great restaurants... We had an exceptional hotel (pension Dolisman) architecture, situation, views, pool, birdwactching, breakfasts, guest.

The village can be reached by car, but it is connected to the Danube Delta through Dunavat Channel.
I recommend taking boat trips from Murighiol for bird watchers. From Dunavat it is easier to go straight to Sfanfu Gheorghe on the Danube branch.

The port is interesting, with some nice tavernas and playground. Apart from that, there is not much to see, unless you are keen to learn sth about the way of living in this rural community. In this context, it is worth mentioning that the churches really stand out - they have shiny roofs and nice mosaics on the walls. It makes an impression that religion plays a very important part in the lives of the inhabitants of Sarichioi (and probably its surroundings). Also, you can observe how neighbours interact with each other - they meet in front of the houses and chat when the evening comes. Maybe part of the reason for this is the fact that internet connection is really poor in the whole area and the inhabitants still practice interactions in the 'good, old-fashioned way'.

I feel that however, the local authorities should be more involved into providing informations about the local opportunities for the tourits.

In general, the experience in the Lower Danube is good.
In general, the experience in the Lower Danube is good. I had a good stay, but with some small problems at the Sharaiman Guesthouse. We ate in several places in the area, less so at the guesthouse mentioned above. I highly recommend La Nicu Si Liubmila in Dunavatul de Jos and Lake View guesthouses in Sarichioi for their excellent service and fish meals.

Beautiful landcape : the lakes and a lot of birds,especially wild geese and pelicans.
Activities: you can do a lot of activities:kayak,cycling, boat trips ,you can travel by car to a lot of historical sites .
Food : best fish based cuisine and excellent local wine.Very good coffee at the Bold restaurant.
Cosy houses and friendly people.

The village is lovely, with old traditional houses here and there and flowers everywhere!Being one of the last villages on the respective main road crossing it, it's very quiet. A Danube channel is traversing it and therefore it offers as well fishing options. It's reachable by car, and boat trips in the Danube Delta can be done from here or starting from Murighiol, only 10 min away by car. It's a great place for relaxing and enjoying the Danube Delta.
