The location is great, the view in our balcony was superb!
Indeed, the carpet is old, the bathroom is basic, but we had hot water & heating.
Before you guys, give little stars to this hotel, think that the other 4 stars hotels are much more expensive. The area itself is expensive.

Great location on the riverbank. The room is large and clean, the kitchen is well-equipped. We stayed in winter and the house was very warm, with heated floors. The hosts allowed us to bring our small dog. The internet worked well. We'll definitely come back in the summer.

The view was absolutely stunning, there’s no better way to start the day than overlooking the lake and mountains. The staff were incredibly friendly, and the food was both delicious and authentic. A truly memorable experience.

Curtea Domneasca, telegondola ... a lot of old churches (Saint John, Saint Peter and Pavel, Draga, the wooden church from Valeni neighborhood and another one from Vanatori neighborhood) and hills (Cozla, Cernegura, Cârloman and Pietricica) and the Fortress of Petrodava.

The Bicaz Lake area is nice for nature lovers - a lake with an interesting history, surrounded by splendid mountains. You have the option to do everything by car, access nice restaurants or, at the same time, go into nature, hike, make tours by boat (also on your own).

Perfect for a 3 days escape, we always make this 3 hours car trip to Durau to relax, as a getaway from the city, it is like a tradition. You have everything in place, always availabilities for room booking, great view and sightseeing, good place to eat, a whole day can be spent outside! You won't feel time passing by! Try it!

It is a good location for a weekend trip with the family.
It is a good location for a weekend trip with the family. You have a few museums you can visit, the Neamt fortress, the "Dragos Voda" Bisons and Carpathian Fauna Reserve, as well as a lot of monasteries in a 20km radius.

The host was available, but the missing cooking tools, no laundry detergent/ no pegs, it was very limiting to enjoy the stay. The host has also cut short our stay and couldn't even enjoy our last breakfast as she came at 6:30 AM overseeing us.

Absolutely amazing.
Absolutely amazing. The property and all the facilities look fantastic and function perfectly. Cozy rooms, a very spacious living room with a huge fireplace right in the middle, and a fully equipped kitchen. The sauna is spacious and does its job perfectly. The owners are nearby and respond promptly to every request, so you’re never left on your own. This experience exceeded our expectations. Thank you!

Dămuc is located inside a valley with some lovely green landscape. There are a few hikes available which can be found online in this area. Bigger atractions such as Cheile Bicazului are around the corner which makes it easy to reach in the early morning before the crowds.

At some 7 km of each Varatec (village) and Targu Neamt (small town), Agapia is a small village neighboring many orthodox monasteries. Clean, with many flowers, good roads, lots of guest houses, some groceries and a few restaurants.

Piatra Neamț is one of the most pleasant and underrated cities I have visited in Romania. What impressed me most was the beautiful combination of nature and urban life. The city is surrounded by hills and forests, creating stunning views in almost every direction, while still offering everything needed for a comfortable stay.
The city centre is clean, well-maintained, and easy to explore on foot. I particularly enjoyed the relaxed atmosphere—busy enough to feel alive, but without the crowds and stress often found in larger cities. The people I interacted with were friendly and welcoming, and I felt safe throughout my visit.
One of the highlights is the spectacular setting at the foot of the mountains, which makes the city a great base for both sightseeing and outdoor activities. Whether you're interested in nature, local culture, or simply enjoying a quieter pace of life, Piatra Neamț has a lot to offer.
A lovely destination that deserves more attention from travellers exploring Romania.

Durau is a good location for tourists who come to go hiking...
Durau is a good location for tourists who come to go hiking on the mountain trails on Mount Ceahlău. Accommodation in the area is very expensive compared to the services offered. The services offered by hoteliers and other service providers are disappointing compared to the price charged. uCompared to Vatea Dornei where the services are at least 2 times better than in Durău. I say this because I was two days after Durau in Vatra Dornei (Bucovina).
