Great location, beautiful view of mountains from yard. Very quite place, mostly suitable for families as per my opinion. Nearby river give you chance to cool down during hot days. Very friendly owner! Big house, clean rooms and comfortable beds. Very good yard for taking sun bath, also you have a lot of place for children.

The breakfast was very elaborate and varied, the hosts made a big effort to prepare vegetarian meals, that were all varied and tasty.
The parking for the motorbike was covered and well secured behind the property gates.
The room balcony had a a great view towards the forest.
The bed was large and comfortable for me at 1.92m (6ft2).

We stayed at Casa Putna Vidra for two nights while attending dog shows in Romania. The house is located in a quiet village, next to the owners’ home — a very kind and welcoming couple, always ready to help with anything we needed. The house was warm, cozy, and very clean.
A big advantage is the large yard with incredibly green grass — our two dogs loved it, and we really appreciated how pet-friendly the hosts were.
We were also treated to fresh fruit and a delicious homemade cake — such a lovely surprise!
Overall, a wonderful stay with genuine Romanian hospitality. Highly recommended!

If you want to see the real rural Romania it is an excellent place to come. We already knew it well because it is where my father-in-law came from and he is still well-known in the village amongst the older people although he died some years ago.
