The building is really nice inside and outside. Fairly new and it has private parking for the guests which is amazing. The rooms are quite spacious and nicely equipped. Everything was clean and neat. Breakfast was nice with options. Everyone was friendly and helpful. There’s also a relax area with saunas and a pool it looked nice.

This is not a luxury hotel and perhaps a little dated, but it has everything needed for a great price and for a comfortable stay in Timisoara. The rooms are spacious, the personal is nice, the breakfast is very good and the location is okay. It was over the expectations we have by reading the other feedback from previous guests and we would recommend it to friends.

A very multicultural and hystorical town in Romania.

A very multicultural and hystorical town in Romania. You'll find there everthing you are interesting for, including the first and important moments in the Romanian Revolution from '89. Don't forget that Timisoara was European Cultural Capital a few years ago, so you could find many cultural events, spectacles and institutions. Therefore, there are many restaurants, therases and pubs, live music, german theater, hungarian theater and Opera. Surprising or not, you could take a ship to travel, across the Romanian border, in Serbia or a canoe to row on the Bega channel.

Great place to overnight while passing through.

Great place to overnight while passing through. The room was spacious and clean with comfortable beds. Staff was very polite and helpful. I would definitely recommend. The pool area was a bit small and crowded but I didn't stay there to swim so it didn't affect me. Restaurant and bar on site. Good food. Supermarket across the street. Parking is a plus.

I advise people to give Timisoara a chance, visit, and enjoy a reborn city. Additionally, they should try the local bars and restaurants; there is something for every tourist. :) I was impressed by Casa Bunicii in Dumbrăvița, but there are many more to experience.

It is a very nice place to stay in and sleep.

It is a very nice place to stay in and sleep. It is quiet, you have a store full of fresh products with Profi City, restaurants with delicious food and very little traffic going round so it is a quiet place. It is close to the airport so any bookings in or around Giarmata Vii are in your advantage. I would highly recommend Casa Chirila.

I first came to Romania in 1997 and always resolved to return because I was not able to visit Timisoara at the time. Almost thirty years later, the wait was certainly worthwhile. Timisoara combines the attractive (particularly The Orthodox Cathedral and Piatsa Unirii) with the historically significant (The Revolution Museum and The Reformed Church where the uprising against Nicolae Ceausescu started.) Definitely worth a visit.

Timisoara, also referred to as “Little Vienna” due to its architecture, is a city that kept growing and improving after becoming the European Capital of Culture in 2023. Today, it’s more beautiful than ever and definitely worth visiting. A city with a rich history and a massive importance to modern Romania (this is where the Romanian revolution started in 1989, ending Nicolae Ceausescu’s communist regime), Timisoara is one of the four major Romanian academic centres and a perfect place to visit or even relocate to.
