Outstanding swedish smorgasboard brekkie. Dinner was also great. We loved the sunsets on the balcony and the staff was absolutely fantastic - every wish fulfilled. The private sauna was an absolute unexpected bonus. We will be back!

The dinner was lovely, we had to have something else than the fish sadly (two pregnant ladies and one with allergies) but they fixed it quick and easy and gave us great steak instead! The spa and all help from staff with drinks and anything we asked for was amazing. We got to play in the gazebo with living lights late into the evening and couldn’t have been happier. Breakfast buffet was also great!

Amazing place, nature everywhere, the room was an entire little house (with bathrooms outside and shared like the showers) and the host made me feel super welcome. The beach is so close and the place is always cleaned, definitely suggested.

Picturesque and walkable city.

Picturesque and walkable city. Lovely houses and historical buildings. The city is just the right size for me, not too large but not too small either. Had a really nice time. The bars and the food are a little expensive unfortunately.

The harbour and surroundings are very scenic.

The harbour and surroundings are very scenic. The town is quite quiet and there a lots of restaurants & cafes to eat at. The area is undergoing a huge investment with waterside appartments. Many of the old fishing related properties are being repurposed. Good local shopping opportunities. If you are a sailor and like the water there is plenty to occupy you.

The location seems to be in condition, although the weather was wet at the time of the visit. the hotel's main building is beautiful, the breakfast is good. Unfortunately, an error occurred during our visit that popped up handy! We thought we would stay in a hotel, but we got a room in a so-called campsite! The pictures looked better than the reality

I visited Söderhamn in december, within an Erasmus project. It obviobviusly didn't offer the same landscapes and cutural offer as in the summer, but it was reslly nice to have strolls ad have some fika in the oca cafès. It was a very relaxing week!

We were here Monday - Thursday in late August so many of the eateries were closed during the week and only opened Thursday-Friday so we missed a few things that we would have wanted to see. It is a beautiful area, we hiked, picked blueberries and visited local farms to buy produce and cheese for our meals. We took the train from Stockholm to Ljusdal and then rented a car and drove the short distance to Järsvö.

It's a nice place to visit for a day.

It's a nice place to visit for a day. You can always try and combine your visit there with a concert or something else. Transportation is okay but with weird timetables, you need to check them on advance. Great place to eat is the Blackstone Steakhouse, eating there made our day!

A clean town with easy access to surrounding areas. Easy shopping with a good range of eateries. Pedestrianised main street with easy access to surrounding roads and facilities. There is nothing specific I would avoid on future visits.
