A beautiful location on the lake. We loved our stay here. We hired a rowing boat and went out onto the lake and it was peaceful and quiet. The restaurant was very good using only local produce as far as humanly possible and the owners are very proud of their hotel, and it shows.

We were on a skip trip to Isaberg, where is only 25 mins drive distance from the hotel. The room we stayed was a family room, which has 2 separate bedrooms, one with king size bed and another one with bunker bed, which fits perfectly for 2 adults and 2 teenages. the separate living room in the family room even provide convenient space for relaxing while kids went to sleep. The breakfast are well prepared by the kitchen with good varieties and choices. Hotel manager are so generous and thoughtful through our entire stay and assist us to the max. they can. The hotel also has laundry room, which is extremely helpful for wet jacket, coat, gloveries when coming back from ski everyday.

Cute and calm town.

Cute and calm town. Not so many tourist attractions in town itself, but very pleasant and friendly place. Everything is in a walkable distance. I didn't have enough time to enjoy the town itself (business trip, with rather tight agenda), especially having in mind that it was winter and it is getting dark already at 15.30h. I do believe it is much better to visit it during the summer, when it is possible to enjoy different outdoor activities, and to plan enough time to make short trips to nearby smaller towns/villages.

Great place if you are passing by Jönköping but doesnt want to stay downtown, close enough and far enough. Dont park on the hotels parking lot if you only stay for the night, better to park just outside, its much cheaper.

Charming little village with cobble stones and pretty facades. Known for the sweets and lollies. Compare the prices as the main street tends to be more expensive. Take the boat to Visingso and rent a bike to discover the island.

What stans out, is the worsed tjeck in system ewer. Stay away if your not having a Ph.d in IT orr is younger than 25. You can read bad service between the line more places. Service is when I forget all my needs and decires, that split second that I full fill yours. At this hotel the costumer clearly comes second orr something. O tempora o mores

We were there on a Saturday, just after lunch time and...

We were there on a Saturday, just after lunch time and everything was closing down. Even a lot of restaurants, which was incredibly strange seeing as this is a popular tourist location. It didn't feel very welcoming or friendly, which was a shame. Its a very pretty location and I would like to see more, but not sure everything could be squeezed in before closing times?!

This is an average size Swedish city situated between two lakes. For international travel it is well connected with Gothenburg by bus and rail. We went there to take compete at IronMan 70.3. It is a very friendly place with lots of locals coming to support athletes like me. Cafe and restaurant prices are very reasonable compare to bigger Swedish cities. Bus and rail fares are quite low.

Small but very cozy city with beautiful lake views.

Small but very cozy city with beautiful lake views. City is popular for their candies, on the main street of Gränna there is a number of candy shops with huge selection of different sweets and you can see their production process. Could not find a decent place to eat though, basically sandwiches and candies all around :)

Tranas is a great place, especially in summer when you have...

Tranas is a great place, especially in summer when you have a boat or kayak to explore the lake. The most interesting lake I have seen so far with many little island where you can land and stay overnight. Great golf course and nice hikes are available, too. Tranas as a city doesn't have too much to offer, though. Nature is the highlight.

Match museum well worth a visit.

Match museum well worth a visit. Delicious coffee from Expresso House Worth looking at Second Hand shop by the station. Walk along the lake path for great views. Texas Longhorn restaurant worth a visit, very tasty burger.
