The grounds were really beautiful, with lots to explore. Room was very comfortable. There were also lots of lounge areas/libraries with good views of the lake. Breakfast was included and very good. Staff were very welcoming and told me about the local area and hikes to do.

Hotell Kung Gösta is just around the corner from Mora Train Station and 20 minutes’ walk from the Zorn Museum. Tomteland Theme Park is only a 15-minute drive from the hotel.

This is one of the best value for money I’ve ever seen. Great location, super friendly staff, spacious rooms, sauna and gym. Breakfast is great and they offer dinner too for a really good price

The Staff upon our early arrival. CARIN, you are worth your weight in gold.... exceptional customer service, nothing was too much trouble, and couldnt do enough for us. Thank you Carin so much. I didnt really have the opportunity to see other staff, owing to the odd times of my stay, but im sure the whole team Is just as welcoming and proficient! Hotel beautiful..... location .. just stunning! Facilities incredible... hot tub overlooking the lake was fabulous. The breakfast deserves its own mention... sooooo much variety, all top quality food, cooked perfectly, my compliments to the kitchen staff, and the cleaning staff.. the place was spotless! Room sizeable and very comfortable. I wish i could live in this place! Such a positive experience thanks to Carin and the whole team! Well done guys... I stay in 17 -23 hotels all across europe and the eastern block each month,and this is my favourite of all! I will Definitely be back!!!

It’s a lovely family owned hotel with a very long history. The hotel is very cosy with lots of attention to details. We stayed in the main building and everything was easily accessible for my elderly parents. I celebrated my 60th birthday there and it was perfect with a beautiful mini suite and excellent food and wine. It’s a bit expensive but at least we felt it was worthwhile. So rare to find a good hotel that also has a good restaurant. The outdoor heated pool was a lovely place to relax.

Klockargården Hotel from 1937 offers tastefully decorated rooms in preserved timber houses surrounded by tranquil gardens. Lake Siljan is 1 km away.

Beautiful views, very welcoming staff and excellent food. The set menu dinner was a particular bonus. The walking in the area was lovely though getting back to the hotel was always uphill !
