This place is incredible. Our family of 4 (kids 4 & 9) booked a Junior suite and it was plenty of room for us. The hotel location is perfection. It’s right on the water. Right outside the front door are row boats to take you to the little island. the restaurant is exceptional - sit on their terrace that overlooks the lake. Breakfast was wonderful - something for everyone. and the whole hotel was CLEAN. I am a clean freak and like to stay in nice hotels - this place had it all. As others mentioned, the bathroom was small and not all that private but that would not deter us from coming here again. We can’t wait to come back. about booking.com - I submitted a price match request 2 weeks ago because the hotel website had a better price. I’ve since sent several follow up requests and they have yet to respond. So book directly with the hotel, if you can.

Loved everything about this place- amazing location, great love for details, fancy but very tasteful breakfast and everything was super clean. The staff is super friendly and you can see that everyone is doing their part to make this a perfect stay for the guests. Would definitely recommend the massage and spa area as well. Just love it here and we were sad that we had to leave .

Everything was spectacular! The rooms are amazing, the staff is friendly, the breakfast is so diverse and full of options. Also, I can’t say this enough: everyone needs to try their dinner! It was absolutely the best food we had in all of our 2 week trip in Slovenia! They are aiming to get a Michelin star and I think they deserve one.

I had meetings at Ljubljana Airport and this is the best place to stay that is very close to the airport. It is a small hotel with an excellent restaurant! The facilities are very clean and well maintained! The rooms are ok. I got a room with two small bedrooms (2 single + 1 single bed) which is the only minus for someone that is used to a big bed. The surroundings are extremely quiet and there is nothing around the hotel but family houses. The only noise is the small river passing just next to the hotel and the church bell which is ringing at 7am... ;)

Unbelievable location with incredible views (we had a deluxe studio apartment) of the Lake. Fantastic breakfast and helpful staff. The owner even made us up breakfast and lunch to take away with us as we were leaving early on our last morning. Slovenia is the most beautiful place we have ever visited. Short walk to the lake for boat hire and swimming. Local restaurants and shops provided everything we needed.

We loved how much there is to see and do in and around Bled.

We loved how much there is to see and do in and around Bled. From the stunning scenery of Lake Bled and the views from Blejski grad to rowing a traditional pletna boat out to Blejski otok, everything felt special. We also enjoyed exploring the wider area, including Lake Bohinj, Slap Savica, Vogel, and a visit to Ljubljana, all of which were easily accessible. Bled is a beautiful base with a great mix of nature, culture, and excellent food.

Wonderful place in December when we visited.

Wonderful place in December when we visited. Walking around Lake Jasna was enjoyable, especially with the fire near the restaurant and Christmas decorations, The town is beautiful and was very active on a Sunday afternoon. We enjoyed Pizza in the old part of town at a local restaurant.

We stayed in Bled for a couple of days before moving to Lake...

We stayed in Bled for a couple of days before moving to Lake Bohinj, on reflection, we preferred Lake Bohinj to Bled, it was less busy, quieter, and if we wanted was in each reach of Bled for a visit. If we went back again we would stay in Bohinj as a base and move around from there.

Slovenia on the whole is one of the most beautiful countries...

Slovenia on the whole is one of the most beautiful countries we have been to. It was very lush and green and has beautiful mountains with little villages tucked away in between. WE love our visit to to Ljubljana, Lake Bled and Postojna caves!! Keeping in mind that this particular hotel location is quite far from the tourist attractions but extremely close to the airport.

Small town with a lot of historical buildings to see and...

Small town with a lot of historical buildings to see and stories to hear, also the tunnels built in the 2nd world war. There is beautiful nature in (rivers Kokra and Sava) and around it that you can visit. I was there two years in a row in September and each time we had a shorter option of a guided tour. Only the tunnels were the same, other parts of tour were totally different - in a small city!

Lesce is a local residential village so nothing special is really happening there. It is quite small and very quiet with supermarkets in the vicinities. The best thing about Lesce is it central location to all the major areas around Lake Bled.

The small village of Mojstrana is at the beginning of the climbing area for Triglav, and the place is amazing—calm and beautiful. Houses and backyards are so clean, and the stream in the center of village is so cute. If you like bike tour there is bike road toward Kranjska Gora.

Rateče is a small village in the northwest corner of Slovenia, literally a few hundred meters from the Italian border. The tourist resort of Kranjska Gora is located 6 km to the east, and the Slovenian Alpine Museum in Mojstrana 20 km to the east. Very scenic Fusina lakes are 8 km to the west. The interesting little town of Tarvisio is also nearby in Italy. The area offers nice hiking and cycling possibilities, exploring the 19th and early 20th century military fortresses, and also exploring the interesting small baroque churches. Walks in the surroundings of Rateče are fantastically tranquil and relaxing. The area also offers some nice restaurants with traditional food, as well as very tasteful cheeses! Planica Nordic Centre is located 3 km to the south from Rateče. The Alpe Adria Cycling Path runs along the abandoned but very scenic old railway Tarvisio - Jesenice!

If you're looking for peace and quiet, this is the perfect place. If you enjoy walking, it's also ideal. It takes about half an hour to reach Lake Bled and around 40 minutes to get to the Vintgar Gorge. All around are beautiful Slovenian villages.

Skofija Loka is a stunning medieval town surrounded by beautiful hills, forests and farmland. The castle perched above the town hosts the town museum and is well worth a visit. The old town features lots of beautiful buildings and small squares with cafes and shops. We ate out twice, once in a Balkan food specialist called Das ist Walter and once in a restaurant near Stara Loka called Inglic. Both were excellent and good value for money. The cafe bar Homen in the centre was also very good for cakes and coffee with exceptional, friendly staff. We also enjoyed two long hikes in the surrounding hills. One to Osolnik and one to Planica via Crngrob where there is a stunning church with frescos and impressive alter.
