Exceptional transit hotel. Impeccable services, cleaning and interior quality. Right by the highway (so you don’t lose time), but quiet. Very good nearby restaurant, petrol stations, supermarket (Lidl). Most importantly, very good service. Will use it again.

Extremely clean!!! The rooms, facilities, breakfast and restaurant...all was perfect. The food was delicious. The staff was friendly and polite. Really can't find nothing bad to say. PERFECT!!! I travel all over Europe for work and there is always something small, but not this time. I'm now planing to go with the family. Hope they keep up with the same dedication.

A really amazing stay! We stayed here for 1 night only and it was amazing! I think spring is the best time to visit this glamping. The tent - is clean, well kept, has all the necessities you need. There is a small bathroom, closet space, very nice bed, we slept very well (Maybe only the lights outside the tent were annoyingly bright and directed at the tent. You are provided with a blindfold though). The area in front of the tent is the best - very peaceful and the views are amazing, the birds sing all day and nature is all around. Worth to mention is that we got a free upgrade to a bigger tent, which was great! Breakfast- you can choose which breakfast option you would like (classic, vital and slovenian) it was very good, with fresh eggs that were still warm. It was brought to our tent at the time we chose exactly! Dinner (or lunch) - we went for dinner in the nearby hotel Sotelia (25€ per person - no drinks included) and it was good, nothing new or over the top good though - usual hotel dinner. Maybe opt for the cheaper option in hotel Breza nearby (20€pp i think), the food is probably similar. To order dinner you have to mention it to the reception on campsite. Wellness - We went to wellness Orhidelia both days. The wellness is truly amazing and relaxing. It is adults only and beautiful. To enter you do have to pay extra, but we got it for free as compensation for “Aqualuna” water park still being closed in spring. We really appreciated that, since we were going to go to Orhidelia anyways. Overall a nice, relaxing, peaceful vacation, thank you to all the kind staff as well:) Sill definitely be returning!

The thermal centre is huge and contains many different hotels. Aparthotel rosa is more family oriented. The furniture is not recent but beds are comfortable, AC works perfectly and there's everything you may need for a pleasant stay,, including dishwasher. The hotel is pet friendly and we found a small blanket and a bowl for our dog. Supermarket is a 10 minutes walk through the woods. As for the wellness, the family oriented centre is amazing, wuth pools and waterslides. But Orhidelia (adults only) really stands out. One of the best wellness center ever. The area is very pleasant, surrounded by hills and woods. Excellent experience overall. Will come back for sure.

Very kind and welcoming host. The cabin was perfect for two people, with a lovely private balcony to unwind and take in the stunning views and soothing sounds of nature. We had a mini fridge at the cabin, so cool drinks are always within reach when chilling on the balcony. The shared kitchen and dining area were well-equipped, with the host thoughtfully providing cooking essentials like spices and oil. The shared space is also very spacious, offering a beautiful view. Throughout the property, there are numerous relaxing spots and easy access to the river.

My friend and I had a reservation for a room for one night with breakfast included. The wellness area is nice, also very clean and cozy. We were especially happy with the food, both at breakfast and dinner. Breakfast was especially good with a lot of homemade products and interesting meals such as the deer pate and pumpkin jam. Also, the hotel is located in a beautiful area with a lot of natural surroundings and animals. During our stay, we got to feed the deer and walk to a nearby viewpoint.

I liked the calmness and the nature, when we were there it was snowing and everything was covered with snow. You could say that we were truly in winter wonderland. Amazing location and really a great place for bonding. The sauna and jacuzzi were inside, which I really liked. The bed was also comfy and the kitchen was really nice, it contains everything you need. Also, the whole village concept is really nice, since it represents Slovenian culture.

Located on a hill in a mountain area, it offers great views in a really idilic place. The room is large, with a good size bathroom as well, very clean (one of the cleanest we have stayed on) and nicely decorated, we absolutely loved it. The host was very nice, polite, very accommodating and the breakfast was an absolute feast. It is relatively close to the supermarkets (a few mins by car). I would highly recommend it! 😊

Maribor exceeded my expectations.

Maribor exceeded my expectations. I particularly liked the banks of the Drava, the beautifully restored old buildings in the city centre, and the surrounding vineyards. I also enjoyed sitting on the terrace of the Zlati lev restaurant. It’s well worth walking up to the Piramida viewpoint – although the signs warning of vipers did give me a bit of a fright.

For me, it is a very beautiful historic town that we unfortunately did not have enough time to fully explore. The main landmarks are the castle, the surrounding narrow streets, and the river. The town is not quite as flawless as the towns further west, but for me personally, that gives it even more charm.

Hočko Pohorje is right between the city of Maribor and the summit of Areh. You can be on the ski slopes within minutes of leaving the appartment, you can take the gondola down to the city (10 minutes) or take the bus to Areh. Keep in mind that if you want to go by car to the city it will take you 30-40 minutes since the road up the mountain is quite winding. There are numerous activities both in winter and summer: skiing or sleding on perfectly prepared slopes, or mountain-biking, hiking, adventuring in the summer. There is also a disc-golf park, I didn't even know of the sport before I came.

I came to Podcetrtek because of the Women’s Futsal Euro qualifiers. I travelled alone but felt safe and welcomed anywhere I went or visited. My stay at my accommodation was amazing, a modern, clean and fully equipped apartment in a good location with very friendly and helpful owners. I could easily have stayed longer and would recommend Podcetrtek as a place to visit.

Beautiful nature, quite city. Not for those who do not like the quietness. Very good organized city, clean. Kind people and very respectful in traffic. there were good small restaurants in the city. Easy to find parking places in the city.

Luče is small village close to Logarska dolina and Velika planina and other various peaks with plenty of hikes, where you can be alone. There are various bars, restaurant, shop and bakery. ATM is close to info center. Big parking is located behind the restaurant.

I am a regular visitor here and in Rogla ski centre.

I am a regular visitor here and in Rogla ski centre. If I weren't satisfied the services or the landscape, I wouldn't come here so often. It is good for hiking, bathing, relaxing and skiing-snowboarding. I haven't been here in spring or in the summer but I am plannig as it must be beautiful then I had breakfast and dinner at my hotel (ReActive). I used my car but there is a busline up the mountain of Rogla. You can also reach Gorenje easily from here.

Really I didn't see much of the town as our purpose of travelling was to ki in Rogla, aproximatelly 25-30 kms away from our accomodation. The hotel we stayed is not in the town but in a nearby village by the road and close to highway. By car it take only a few minutes to go to Slovenska Bistrica where you can find a shopping certre with quite a lot of stores. Slovenska Bistrica is fairly close to Maribor City, the second largest city in Slovenia. And it also close to either Maribor-Pohorje (and Areh) and Rogla ski-slopes.

Somewhat too quiet and dark at night. The central square is very picturesque, but that's pretty much all of it. I guess it depends on the personal preference. We also liked the Mestni Park a LOT. Very affordable food and drink prices.

Ptuj is a beautiful historic town.

Ptuj is a beautiful historic town. We visited the castle (which houses a museum with a collection of musical instruments and paintings) and strolled through the historic center. Finding an open restaurant on a Saturday at noon was a bit of a challenge, but since a music festival was taking place in the town, there were plenty of street food options.
