The hotel itself is modern and functional, very central, a stone throw's away from the main lido, St. Martin's church and the Castle. The staff was extremely kind and helpful and mastered several languages! Bled is not a cheap spot, but this hotel is worth its price!

The beds and pillows were comfortable, and the breakfast was great, with, apart from the buffet, additional and tasty a la carte options. The lady at the breakfast area was super welcoming and friendly. We were really happy to have spent 2 nights there with our kids and look forward to our next visit.

We absolutely loved this place. It was exactly the kind of accommodation we enjoy most – warm, quiet, cozy and surrounded by nature. We stayed for 3 nights and for almost the whole time we had the entire house practically to ourselves, which made the stay even more peaceful. The location near Lake Bohinj is excellent – just a short walk to the lake, with beautiful hiking routes nearby, both towards Pršivec and towards Vogel and the surrounding area.
The house itself was lovely: wooden, clean, very well equipped and comfortable. The bed was great, the kitchen had everything we needed, and we were pleasantly surprised to find a dishwasher as well. There was also a sauna in the basement available on request, which we used twice and really enjoyed. It was spacious and perfect after a day in the mountains.
What we appreciated most was the complete silence in the evening, the lack of crowds, and the overall atmosphere. Since the main season starts in April, visiting in late March felt ideal for us. If we come back to Bohinj, we would gladly stay here again. The hosts were kind, welcoming and very helpful. We definitely recommend this place.

A wonderful hotel in a great location. The room is large, with a comfortable bed. There's a small refrigerator and a TV. The staff is very polite, always ready to answer any questions. There's an indoor pool at no extra charge. The food, in my opinion, is quite reasonable for the price. There are many restaurants nearby. And most importantly, the hotel is located right next to the lake, and the views from the balcony are simply wonderful.

Nestled in the heart of the forest, the hotel offers a peaceful escape where the only sounds are birds singing and the gentle breeze through the trees. Surrounded by the fresh scent of pine, it’s the perfect place to relax and reconnect with nature.
The room was very comfortable, and the breakfast was delicious!

The apartment was in the perfect location. Awesome burger restaurant across the road and a grocery store nearby. The property was very clean, modern, and well maintained. We based ourselves here for 5 days, and it was wonderful. The host was very helpful and responsive. Would definitely recommend this apartment.

Everything was ok! Comfortable clean rooms. Very kind helpful and friendly English-speaking stuff. Perfect location near the lake. Hotel is situated next to the grocery store and information center. Restaurant is part of the hotel and parking is for free behind the hotel. We will definitely come back again.

We had to leave early for a long day hike and asked if they could pack a breakfast for us. They packed enough to feed us the whole day and were so sweet about it. Hard boiled eggs, yogurt, fresh croissants (several per person!), 2 sandwiches each. It was a above and beyond! Thank you!

The room decor had a very alpine feel - back to nature.
The restaurant attached to the property was lovely - recommend the tuna salad and breaded trout. And the half-dry white wine!

The relaxing massages. A place full of nature, very close to the lake and waterfalls. We were also able to go kayaking and visit Slovenian villages. The staff was also friendly and the accommodation was very clean.

Beautiful lake, not as crowded or touristy as Lake Bled. Very small town but great for a night or two, especially if you are using it as a jumping off point for day hikes or a trek in the Julian Alps.

The breakfast was wonderful, with plenty of food and a great variety. The food was really delicious. We truly enjoyed the accommodation, and the hotel owner was lovely, helping us with every question and everything we needed. We got caught in the snow in the mountains, and the hotel owner drove us in his own car – it was so kind and definitely not something to be taken for granted. I highly recommend this place ☺️

The town of Bohinjska Bistrica didn't impress us but the Bohinj lake a few kilometers away is the main attraction anyway and it is beautiful. There is a nice cyclepath from Bohinjska Bistrica to the lake with a few steep parts and soon the whole cyclepath from lake Bled to Bohinj will be completed. There are also some other routes around Bohinjska Bistrica but the area might be a bit constricted for serious cyclists. In July and August there is too much traffic for serious road cycling if you don't like a lot of traffic but we were told that from September it is much more quiet.

Lots of hikes available for all levels and a fair amount of length as well (from daily to several days, if you stop in huts and move towards Triglav and the seven lakes). Lots of other sports activities directly around, and on the lake (rowboat, canoe, kayak, swimming, climbing, biking, walking/running). The area is far less touristic than Bled, which is a plus in my book. Getting around is quite straightforward, as there is mostly one road. That also means that it gets a bit congested on the road in the beginning and the end of the day (especially in Bled, which is the main chokepoint). However, even when it's congested, it keeps moving, so it's never too long.
The landscape is gorgeous everywhere, and because it's enclosed in a valley, there is less suntime, which means the temperature are usually less brutal during summer. The water is also very nice to swim in, with various big beaches, but also a lot of natural nooks and alcoves that offer a better feeling of privacy.

Good location - just the middle between Bohinj and Bled lakes. Quiet area but in the morning we heard some cars from distant route and also train once per day. Hosts are very friendly and helpful. We got free pack of local eggs on arrive.
We were living in upper floor. The accommodation had everything we need for nice stay. The beds are a bit hard and noisy. Also I would add nets on the windows because there is no AC and opening window at night time might cause problems with mosquitos.

A beautiful, unspoilt and relaxed location.
A beautiful, unspoilt and relaxed location. We enjoyed the lake, hiking and the delicious food but there is so much more to do in the area. There are many cycle paths and opportunities to raft, kayak, mountaineer etc When our youngest son is a little older we hope to return to do more cycling and perhaps one of the more adventurous sports.
There is a good sized supermarket and a few shops in the town as well as some nice restaurants and cafes. It has everything you need and is far more relaxed than Bled.
