La Perenthèse is a fine family hotel with a friendly atmosphere and a professional personnel approach. The hotel is new; Sylvain and Stephanie opened this beautiful place in 2024. The pool bar cocktails could be compared with the best ones in Cancun, Rio, or Miami. The pool view over the beach to the ocean waves changes each cold spirit to a romantic fool. However, there is one thing you must go there for. The cuisine is the best in West Africa. The local chef transfers you to a Michelin restaurant in central Paris. When you must wipe your plate completely dry, it's the best proof of a chef's impeccable work. When you're getting to sleep, you only hear the ocean waves. There’s no city noise you can listen to when lying at the pool. Whether you want to stay for a few days or spend just an hour for lunch, this place will captivate you. When you visit Senegal, you can’t miss this incredible place.

Lovely boutique oasis in the countryside. Absolutely stay here to get away and relax! The facilities are exactly as pictured on the website. Staff have great attention to guests to ensure a good stay. The food was delicious, fresh juice, and the coffee was fantastic. Tip: book the shuttle from the airport - fresh cold towels! FYI for women travelling alone: the road gets gradually smaller and more rural as you get closer to the hotel. The final turn is on a dirt road that goes between other properties before you come to the gate; this is normal.

The bungalows are quiet and lovely, with good aircon, comfortable beds, mosquito nets, and strong, hot showers. There are two pools, one near the restaurant that is quite charming, and one with a sea view that is stunning--we spent the day luxuriating there. The breakfast is light, with pastries and fruit, and the dinner has a nice selection of entrees (both meals included in the price). I absolutely loved our stay here and would most definitely come again. It will definitely be on the list for visitors, as it is quite comfortable.

Very nearby Saly.

Very nearby Saly. Saly has a lot to offer concerning bars and restaurants. Mbour is more quiet. The beach is during the day not crowded, you can walk on the beach. In the evening around 5-6pm there is a lot of young crowed playing on the beach, swimming.

The facility (hotel) fully satisfied our expectations. Very well-working staff from all departments!!! Both the beach, swimming pools and the area around the hotel are attractive to guests. The towns near the hotel (town and villages) "tourist-friendly" with a specific atmosphere. What is very important, in such places "we feel safe there"!!!

Wi-fi did not work in the rooms but did work in the courtyard albeit a bit slow. There are restaurants - you can eat at the hotel, one is nearby towards the main road and some local no frills places on the main road. It is easy to find a taxi on the main road. It is a not too far walk to go to Fadiouth Island

I'm a business owner; I know keeping up with a demanding career like hospitality isn't for the negligent. People pay attention to details—rooms are clean. I tried the local dish, Thieboudienne (a bit like the Jollof rice), and they made it so well. Modou, the driver, is very kind-hearted and available when you need him(his vehicle is neat, too 😀). The DSS Airport is in a developing outskirts and if you want a place close by, considering that it is not downtown Dakar, the place is cool! Overall, I think the crew at Poponguine is passionate about what they do, and it's obvious.

Unprofessional and having no knowledge of hospitality. WiFi is very weak and cleanliness isn't up to standard. I dnt blv the other reviews are legit The attitude of the young man who was helping me is unacceptable. If you don't understand French, don't attempt going there unless u wana test your adrenaline.
