Beautiful clean spacious room, very close to all amenities, including the airport and the beach, with helpful staff. There was aircon and a fan, nice heavy curtains to shut out street light and double windows to keep noise to a minimum. I will return when I next do an airport run, loved it, and slept well!

Exceptional Service and a Heartfelt Thank You I want to express my deepest gratitude to the amazing team at this hotel. I found myself in a difficult situation as my husband was hospitalized nearby, and I was alone with two small children. From the very first moment, the staff went above and beyond to assist me with anything I needed. The hotel is impeccably clean and well-organized. Everything is perfectly maintained, and the attention to detail is remarkable. The golf carts were always available, either at the reception or near the rooms, making it very convenient to get around. But what truly stood out was the kindness and dedication of the staff. They were always there with a smile, ready to help with anything, no matter how big or small. Their support made a challenging time much more bearable. Thank you from the bottom of my heart for your care and professionalism. I will never forget how much you helped me and my family. This is more than just a hotel—it’s a place with a heart.

I spent four nights at Chaweng Regent Beach Resort, and my experience couldn’t have been better! First of all, I highly recommend having breakfast at the resort :the selection is impressive, with a wide variety of dishes to choose from. I especially enjoyed starting my mornings with a delicious meal while overlooking the ocean - truly a perfect way to begin the day. As for the accommodation, I stayed in a private chalet near the pond with golden fish and it was absolutely stunning & incredibly relaxing. The beach, the restaurant, and the overall service were all top-notch. The hotel staff goes above and beyond to make your stay special. A special thanks to Aui and Namwan for their kind help with all my requests — your hospitality made my stay even more memorable.❤️

Fantastic wide pool and pool deck. Resort perfectly located very very close to night market and biggest shopping center. This resort is re-opening or re-starting and has fantastic potential. We have really enjoyed our spontaneous 2 nights stay and would have stayed longer if our holiday would have been longer. Recommended!

Chaweng is fantastic, full of nice bars and restaurants.

Chaweng is fantastic, full of nice bars and restaurants. Lively bar/club street in the centre. Beach is beautiful and stretches miles. Negatives are the pavements, they have just slapped electric meters all over, cracked and missing paving so its not too safe. Constant weed/massage shops which are annoying to walk past.

Chaweng Noi Beach was one of my favorite spots on Koh Samui.

Chaweng Noi Beach was one of my favorite spots on Koh Samui. It’s incredibly beautiful — soft white sand, calm turquoise water, and a peaceful atmosphere that feels like a little escape from the busier parts of the island. I loved how quiet and relaxed it was, perfect for swimming or just lying under the sun. The view with the green hills around was stunning. That said, it’s not the best during low tide — the rocks and coral can make it tricky to get in the water. Also, there’s not much going on nearby in terms of shops or nightlife, and some areas can get a bit pricey because of the luxury resorts. Still, for a calm beach day with amazing views, I’d go back in a heartbeat.

I read a lot of reviews about the amazing beaches of Koh Samui. I tried many of them and I can tell with confidence that Chaweng was the best by miles. I was based in Chaweng and I though to check the other beaches. I walked all over Lamai, which is very panoramic, but there is a constant stink wherever you go and the beach inside has a lot of corals/rocks that will probably hurt your feet. Crystal Bay was tiny, not comfortable because of the corals and overcrowded. I didnt see Fisherman Village beach while the others on the east side looked dirty. Choose Chaweng

I wouldn't go back.

I wouldn't go back. I was so disappointed by Koh Samui, I thought it was a nice place to go but aside from beautiful beaches and the views from the mountains, its really rough and run down. Chaweng itself is like Magaluf. The strip is awful. But if you like that then you'd probably like it but not being a drinker or a partier I really hated it. We did however eat at some really great restaurants all over Koh Samui

I am astounded that more British people, especially families...

I am astounded that more British people, especially families, don't take family holidays in Chaweng. It has everything, and it is so cheap compared to Spain or the Caribbean. I think maybe people think Thailand isn't safe? Nonsense, if so. It feels like the safest place I've ever been.

It is beautiful, wonderful, crystal clear, turquoise water. Do NOT let the reviews that say that this beach is "busy, loud, too crowded" deter you from coming. We were here in January-February during peak season and it was perfect! Never too crowded and never too empty. Perfect in my experience, I would come back. I did not prefer nor enjoy Lamai beach (supposed to be better, but I disagree).
