Thee BEST small hotel I've ever stayed at! Everything was absolutely fantastic. Starting with the staff, everyone was so friendly and helpful, THANK YOU to each one of them for a magnificent stay. The room was perfect, nice shower and bathroom and comfy bed and excellent aircon. Pool was beautifully clean and the restaurant had a lovely selection of food and drinks and all well priced too! THE VIEW is amazing from the restaurant and pool deck. A little bit out from the centre of town but that made it quiet, and an easy 100baht tucktuck to the main action around Central Mall if wanted. I definitely want to come back to Chaweng beach again and won't hesitate to book at this little gem again.

Liked everything about this place, it really is so laid back and super comfortable. The staff were perfect , very welcoming and helpful.The restaurant does great food and coffee also. Everywhere is very clean and tidy, my room was spotless. I have travelled around Thailand quite a bit in the last 30 years and this place will be a favourite for sure.

Beautiful clean spacious room, very close to all amenities, including the airport and the beach, with helpful staff. There was aircon and a fan, nice heavy curtains to shut out street light and double windows to keep noise to a minimum. I will return when I next do an airport run, loved it, and slept well!

The Stay is a truly beautiful place. The entire area from the reception to the restaurant is surrounded by lush, tropical greenery with palm and banana trees, creating a stunning and unique “jungle-like” atmosphere. The beach is wonderful — clean, peaceful, and protected by a reef that keeps the water calm. We especially enjoyed the free kayaking, which added to the experience. Breakfast was excellent, and having the option to enjoy lunch right at the beach was both convenient and delicious. A relaxing and memorable stay — we would happily return.

Nora Beach Resort is the perfect location if you want to get away from it all on a tropical island in Thailand. We stayed in the Ocean view villa which was spacious, with an outdoor shower (as well as inside shower and bath) and balcony. The bed was comfortable, there was also a sofa and work desk, tea and coffee making facilities included. A free shuttle is provided daily at 4 pm to take you to Chaweng Beach. The Spa is excellent with lots of packages available. The breakfast buffet was plentiful and catered for all cuisines. We highly recommend a stay here.

the view is of course incredible. But the whole stay was successful because the staff is very nice and efficient. Our suite was perfect to relax and spend endless nights. This place is quiet because it is difficult to get there, up on the hill and there are no other hotel closed by. we enjoy to chill or do some yoga exercises at the pool deck, most of the time alone or with few people respecting the silence and the place. Definitely a place I could come back and I strongly recommend.

The Amari is well located, with easy access to local commerce. The facilities are well maintained and a fleet of buggies shuttle guests between the three units. The staff is incredibly friendly and gave great recommendations on restaurants and other attractions. Pink, Fern, Jimmy and Campus doted upon us throughout our stay and made it a very special experience.

Hotel was at the quiet north end of Chaweng but the centre...

Hotel was at the quiet north end of Chaweng but the centre was walkable. At the end of the road it was easy to get a sangtow for a ride there or anywhere else on the island. Beware the center of Chaweng as it is directly under the flight path from Ko Samui airport. South end of Chaweng was quieter. Climate is far better than Bangkok. Cooler with more breeze.

Chaweng Noi Beach was one of my favorite spots on Koh Samui.

Chaweng Noi Beach was one of my favorite spots on Koh Samui. It’s incredibly beautiful — soft white sand, calm turquoise water, and a peaceful atmosphere that feels like a little escape from the busier parts of the island. I loved how quiet and relaxed it was, perfect for swimming or just lying under the sun. The view with the green hills around was stunning. That said, it’s not the best during low tide — the rocks and coral can make it tricky to get in the water. Also, there’s not much going on nearby in terms of shops or nightlife, and some areas can get a bit pricey because of the luxury resorts. Still, for a calm beach day with amazing views, I’d go back in a heartbeat.

It is a lovely beach, and we were 1.5 miles from town. Taxi's were reasonably priced, I used Bolt a lot. The airport is nearby. The downside is the traffic but more importantly the roads are in a disgraceful state. potholes everywhere.

I wouldn't go back.

I wouldn't go back. I was so disappointed by Koh Samui, I thought it was a nice place to go but aside from beautiful beaches and the views from the mountains, its really rough and run down. Chaweng itself is like Magaluf. The strip is awful. But if you like that then you'd probably like it but not being a drinker or a partier I really hated it. We did however eat at some really great restaurants all over Koh Samui

A perfect place to escape from Belgian winter weather. Lots of superb Thai and several good Indian restaurants, all remarkably inexpensive by European standards: you can dine well for less than 500 baht (about 14 euro) per person; breakfast, if not included, costs 250 to 300 baht. The fine sand beach is about 3km long, though the north third of it is largely covered at high tide. Most is divided between resort hotels and bars but you can rent loungers and sunshades from many of them or - like many people - simply lay on a towel on the sand more-or-less anywhere you like. The beach faces east and, from 11 or 12 o'clock, plenty of shade is provided by trees at the edge of the beach. The light wind ensures comfort from the heat, however it can start to get cold once the sun retreats behind the trees around 4 p.m.

We were here in January-February during peak season and it was perfect! Never too crowded and never too empty. Perfect in my experience, I would come back. I did not prefer nor enjoy Lamai beach (supposed to be better, but I disagree).
