I agree with the previous reviews: very nice hotel (each room is a small separate house). The rooms are nice and clean, modern design and convenient location for travelers. We stayed just for one night and were surprised by good service and conditions. Simple breakfast is included which is a very nice touch. Houses are surrounded by nature - very beautiful.

Exceptionally good staff, very friendly and helpful. Room was clean and comfortable with all facilities. Set breakfast small but high standard. Location is easy to find on the main highway close to restaurants and the beach. I realised I’d forgotten to collect my deposit on check out and after a message to the hotel they refunded very quickly to my Revolut account.

The staff was incredibly friendly and treated us like family. The rooms were clean, and the shower had great pressure and hot water. We had an early morning flight and the hotel arranged a cheap shared shuttle van for us, and since we left before breakfast started, they packed a breakfast bento for us with a generous portion, and even accommodated our vegan diet. Overall, I would absolutely stay here again the next time I travel from Koh Tao back to Bangkok!

Great hotel for a transit stop, conveniently located just off the highway but slightly set back from the road. The bed was very comfortable, and the breakfast was excellent and delicious. Spent a whole week here one month ago and wrote in my review "I can't wait to go back". I did go back and loved it again. Get a good coffee from Volk Cafee in the morning, take a swim in the ocean 50 meters from your front door, have a nice drive on your motorbike through lovely backlands, have a good dinner next door at Le Betole, walk on the lovely moonlighted beach and end the day sitting on the porch before falling asleep on your comfy bed.

Great location, in the middle of the city. Halal restaurant named Farida Roti just 1 minute walk. Ample parking space. Check-in process was smooth & quick. The front desk staff already prepared our room card before we’re arrived. Clean room with a window & small balcony. To sleep on a comfy bed after a long 1000km ride really gives us the rest we need before continuing another 890km ride to Tak the next morning. Got tv, built-in desk, mini fridge, 2 water bottle & 2 glass. Clean bathroom, hot shower with soap & shampoo dispenser (please note that hotel do not provide other toiletries). Hot water are served self service at the lobby together with a coffee machine (got hot chocolate too 😍).

I had a wonderful stay at Nana Buri Hotel in Chumphon. From the moment I arrived, the staff were incredibly welcoming and accommodating. They even allowed me to check in three hours earlier than the usual time, which was a great help after a long journey! The room was clean, comfortable, and well-maintained, providing a relaxing atmosphere. The hotel’s location is convenient, making it easy to explore the surrounding area. The breakfast selection was also great, with a variety of options to start the day right. Overall, I highly recommend Nana Buri for anyone visiting Chumphon. Their excellent service and hospitality truly made my stay enjoyable. Would definitely return! ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

Retro Box was an unexpectedly positive experience. The owners managed to shade and insulate the metal containers in a way that it was nice and cool inside. There were quite a few rooms overlooking the pool (ours didn't, but it was better this way as those seemed a little bit smaller). Breakfast was delicious, staff were polite, beds were comfortable - we loved it so much that we were the last ones to check out, after reluctantly stopping all that pleasant lounging pool side. In short, we loved it, and would highly recommend it to others. Great job, 👍 well done!

I absolutely cannot fault this property. The room itself for enormous, great size bathroom, and spotless throughout. The balcony is a great size and super spacious. It is fantastic value for money and one of the most comfortable stays we have had in 6 weeks (couple travelling through south east asia). This was a last minute pit stop for us during a day of travelling and we had a fantastic stay here and super glad we did. Reception open til quite late as well selling juice/snacks etc. Highly recommend this hotel!

It was amazing! The owners are super friendly and nice, the place is lovely, by the river, in a beautiful garden! We can borrow bicycles and kayaks to go around the area! They also give fresh DIY coffee and fresh fruits every morning!

If you are looking for deserted beaches with powdery sand and great swimming, Chumphon is for you. Had some of the best seafood ever. Friends took me to visit a cacao farm. The chocolate produced in Chumphon province is amazingly good.

We stayed for 5 nights.

We stayed for 5 nights. The beach is lovely with soft white sand. There were plenty of local restaurants close to the beach and also western food. There were only a few small shops. Transport into Chumphon costs 300 Thai baht by taxi. There is a really good weekend night market in Chumphon with a huge variety of freshly cooked food.

We stayed in the Pathio district near to all beachesm very nice and quite area, you can arrange for jetski or snorkeling even diving, empty beaches all over the coast of Chumphon, caves, temples, many view point, very beautiful the mix of the mountain and vegetation with the ocean. This city was recommend by a neighboor. If you want to avoid crowded tourist areas this is the place.

Transfer from the Chumphon pier to the hotel, you may buy the ticket at pier to be drop off at the hotel by minivan taxi. “ This information is NOT correct and I wasted time & money

Quiet place far away from the tourist crowds.

Quiet place far away from the tourist crowds. Great beaches, nearly empty, amazing vegetation with lots of interesting places to see nearby. A good base to go exploring more south (we had a rental car) and close to the Myanmar border with all those hills. Would highly recommend the area for people who wnat to see a more genuine Thailand than the Phukets of the world.
