The place is just perfect for what we needed and the hosts were very helpful and responsive and we had a great communication. The place is clean and comfortable, the location is quiet and close to the airport, one non stop market and various local restaurants. I wish we could stay longer. Great value for money, I cannot recommend this place enough!

Great hotel for a transit stop, conveniently located just off the highway but slightly set back from the road. The bed was very comfortable, and the breakfast was excellent and delicious. Despite being close to the road, there was no traffic noise at all. Spacious and convenient parking. Friendly and welcoming staff.

The hotel is cute and clean. There is wifi. The staff is friendly and helpful. At the back of the hotel, there is a magnificent river and seating areas where you can enjoy the river. We took our coffee in the morning and enjoyed it. As the weather started to warm up, some small flies came in. We did not think that this hotel, which we stopped by to stay on the pass road, would please us so much.

Location was great for being close to the airport. Beautiful ocean views from the hotel and can walk to a couple local food stalls at night and a 7eleven for some food. Room was super clean and comfortable, exactly what I needed and was hoping for. Wish I’d had longer there to enjoy more of it!

The hot water in the bathroom was reliable, and the air conditioning worked perfectly, keeping the room cool and comfortable even on the hottest days. The resort is peaceful and quiet, making it an ideal spot for those looking to unwind. I also appreciated the individual parking, which made coming and going incredibly convenient. The WiFi was fast and reliable, which was a big plus for staying connected during my visit. Retro Box was an unexpectedly positive experience. The owners managed to shade and insulate the metal containers in a way that it was nice and cool inside. There were quite a few rooms overlooking the pool (ours didn't, but it was better this way as those seemed a little bit smaller). Breakfast was delicious, staff were polite, beds were comfortable - we loved it so much that we were the last ones to check out, after reluctantly stopping all that pleasant lounging pool side. In short, we loved it, and would highly recommend it to others. Great job, 👍 well done!

This hotel was just perfect. The room were super clean, spacious. The bathroom was impeccable. They called for my pickup because the driver was not going to come in my area (even tho I had it booked), they were very helpful and the 24/24h reception is a plus.

Quiet place far away from the tourist crowds.

Quiet place far away from the tourist crowds. Great beaches, nearly empty, amazing vegetation with lots of interesting places to see nearby. A good base to go exploring more south (we had a rental car) and close to the Myanmar border with all those hills. Would highly recommend the area for people who wnat to see a more genuine Thailand than the Phukets of the world.

We stayed for 5 nights.

We stayed for 5 nights. The beach is lovely with soft white sand. There were plenty of local restaurants close to the beach and also western food. There were only a few small shops. Transport into Chumphon costs 300 Thai baht by taxi. There is a really good weekend night market in Chumphon with a huge variety of freshly cooked food.

There are many unique places to visit, many beautiful...

There are many unique places to visit, many beautiful islands, and scenic spots. I eed to rents a car and drives yourself to visit more tan 10 attractions wic are far apart. Traveling to see the various islands, snorkeling, swimming, and seeing the beauty of the various islands requires Local noat Tour to take you there.

Our stay in Chumphon was exactly as we anticipated, our reason for visiting was to stay at fisherman’s home stay, which was superb, we stayed an extra night in the town to catch an early morning train to Trang, this allowed us to witness the people of Chumphon setting up the food markets at 03.00 in the morning, brilliant.
