One of those places to which you want to change your travel plans only to visit them again. Lovely Thai / English couple of owners picked us up from the airport late at night, from an hour delayed flight. Homestay is located close to the airport which luckily is not very busy, so you don't have to worry about the planes flying above your head all day and night. The resort inside looks like a little green oasis. Rooms and everything you see is squeaky clean, surrounded by beautiful lush gardens, with hammocks hanging free to use. Mem was kind enough to just borrow us her scooter and recommended the best scenic route, bar, cafe and breakfast places around. Nearby are empty picturesque beaches with not many tourists and little islands you can explore with one-day boat trips.

The hotel is cute and clean. There is wifi. The staff is friendly and helpful. At the back of the hotel, there is a magnificent river and seating areas where you can enjoy the river. We took our coffee in the morning and enjoyed it. As the weather started to warm up, some small flies came in. We did not think that this hotel, which we stopped by to stay on the pass road, would please us so much.

Location is great. The room is clean, nice staff and they also provide breakfast drinks and snacks which are in good quality. Will be perfect if they could change a softer pillow in the room but I did not ask a new one as I already arrived late in the night. Will stay there again for my stop at Chumphon.

If you are staying in chumphon city centre the Hop Inn is a great choice. It’s clean, comfortable, very easy/short walk to Main Street and quiet. Room facilities were great . Staff friendly. Would stay here again if I was staying city area.

I had a wonderful stay at Nana Buri Hotel in Chumphon. From the moment I arrived, the staff were incredibly welcoming and accommodating. They even allowed me to check in three hours earlier than the usual time, which was a great help after a long journey! The room was clean, comfortable, and well-maintained, providing a relaxing atmosphere. The hotel’s location is convenient, making it easy to explore the surrounding area. The breakfast selection was also great, with a variety of options to start the day right. Overall, I highly recommend Nana Buri for anyone visiting Chumphon. Their excellent service and hospitality truly made my stay enjoyable. Would definitely return! ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

What a nice and friendly welcome from the staff ! The check in was quick, all our luggage - a lot ! - was taken to our room, everything was quick and efficient. The breakfast in the morning was outstanding, lots of choice, not only Thai but also European dishes. The omelette lady and coffee guy couldn't have been nicer and friendlier. Fantastic coffee, fantastic omelettes, fantastastic reception staff, fantastic service !

Lovely peaceful place. Big room with sitting area and dressing table. Windows that open. Continental breakfast included. I was happy to be checked in early since I arrived very early. The staff especially Nee, sorry not sure how to spell her name, was so friendly and helpful. Would definitely stay there again if I am ever in Chumphon. Thank you 🙂

Amazing staff! We arrived in late at night and a hotel staff member kindly picked us up from the train station! Room was big , lovely bathroom , only stayed one night as we were going to the islands so didn’t get to see any of chumphon!

Quiet place far away from the tourist crowds.

Quiet place far away from the tourist crowds. Great beaches, nearly empty, amazing vegetation with lots of interesting places to see nearby. A good base to go exploring more south (we had a rental car) and close to the Myanmar border with all those hills. Would highly recommend the area for people who wnat to see a more genuine Thailand than the Phukets of the world.

We stayed for 5 nights.

We stayed for 5 nights. The beach is lovely with soft white sand. There were plenty of local restaurants close to the beach and also western food. There were only a few small shops. Transport into Chumphon costs 300 Thai baht by taxi. There is a really good weekend night market in Chumphon with a huge variety of freshly cooked food.

There are many unique places to visit, many beautiful...

There are many unique places to visit, many beautiful islands, and scenic spots. I eed to rents a car and drives yourself to visit more tan 10 attractions wic are far apart. Traveling to see the various islands, snorkeling, swimming, and seeing the beauty of the various islands requires Local noat Tour to take you there.

Actually it took me longer to get ther & cost more because of a misguided email from Booking.com “ Thank you for booked The Beach Resort & Residence . For any assistance , please contact us at 0654313005 . Transfer from the Chumphon pier to the hotel, you may buy the ticket at pier to be drop off at the hotel by minivan taxi. “ This information is NOT correct and I wasted time & money

Our stay in Chumphon was exactly as we anticipated, our reason for visiting was to stay at fisherman’s home stay, which was superb, we stayed an extra night in the town to catch an early morning train to Trang, this allowed us to witness the people of Chumphon setting up the food markets at 03.00 in the morning, brilliant.
