PolandEverything was perfect. The family that runs this place is truly very friendly, helpful and natural. The bungalows are new, spacious and everything works perfectly there. There is a nice smell in the bungalow! fan and AC, WiFi, hot water, fridge, hangers, shelves, comfortable beds and a couch, nice terrace and beautiful view and surroundings. The street was close but it was not loud even for us - quiet lovers. The restaurant is cheap for the island standards and the meals are delicious, there are A LOT of dishes on the menu so you never get bored. Fish with lime was my favorite. Breakfast is included and you may choose a meal from like 25-30 positions.
You may rent a scooter/motorbike for a very decent price (250baht/day) they are also brand new. The family also runs a market so if you need anything you don't have to walk. There is one of the best beach on the island (no people) about 10 min drive from the homestay. And the closest beach is within walking distance. You may order a laundry for 60 baht/kg. We liked the cats and dogs too. In fact we liked it so much we stayed for 9 instead of 3 days and would stay longer if we only could.

As soon as we arrived we felt like old friends with every staff member. The villas are lovely with amazing beds. I had the best sleep I’d had since arriving in Thailand. I could lie in bed and watch the ocean. What else could you ask for? A great breakfast was served each morning and staff organised our motorbikes and ferry tickets back to mainland. A great intimate resort.

This was the most amazing resort I’ve been too in a long time. The location is beautiful, with its own private beach, unrestricted sea view and a great pool. The staff is amazing, very efficient and friendly. We had some of the best food in Thailand here with fair prices. Highly recommend the Khao Soi! And also recommend the Thai Twin Room with sea view, beautiful!

This is a fantastic resort with amazing, friendly helpful staff, beautifully kept gardens, amazingly efficient cleaning teams, restaurant serving delicious food and set on a beautiful bay. Cozy small houses in gorgeous nature. Just few steps down the wooden pathways through flower gardens is small private beach. Restaurant is big and airy with wooden floor and view on the sea. Very helpfull and skilled staff personel.

May 16-21; low season just starting. Ko Kood was very peaceful and not busy at all. Very lovely island. Many beaches to explore. We rented a motorbike and explored every beach and most resorts over a 4 day period. Wonderful people everywhere!

The island was amazing, with beautiful and peaceful beaches that made the experience truly relaxing. The local restaurants at night were also fantastic, offering great food and a lively atmosphere. However, if we had stayed at a hotel of my preference, the overall experience might have been even better.

Our stay at the Wendy Pool resort was excellent , wonderful setting in paradise .
The resort was perfect the staff were so accommodating.
the room was clean and spacious.
My wife was unfortunate enough to suffer with Sand fly bites from the beach, that become infected and blistered again the care and kindness of the staff was fantastic.
coconut oil and a strong Deet are recommended to deter the sand flies.
We would still highly recommend the Wendy Pool Resort ,my bites were minimal and didnt bother me at all.
