I stayed at Janzo House for a week, and didn’t want to leave! The resort just opened a few months ago, but you can immediately feel how much care and thought the owners have put into it. There is a very chill, homey-vibe that isn’t easy to create. The dorm was spotless, cozy, and well-designed with lockers and spacious beds. I slept amazing (rare for a dorm) thanks to the great air circulation (two fans and AC) and soundproofing. I had the option to upgrade to one of their private rooms, which are probably the best value on the island, but opted to just stay in the dorm. The owners were always available to help with anything I needed, even providing me a refresher on how to ride a scooter since I was a bit rusty (they offer rentals on site which was so convenient and affordable). They also gave me the best recommendations for hidden gems and the best beaches to visit on Koh Kood, which made my time on the island better than I could have imagined. I ate here whenever I could since the food was amazing. I’m a latte girlie and appreciated that they use an actual espresso machine, none of that nescafe garbage. Personal favourite breakfast is the muesli, but everything they make is from the heart. The garlic chicken and pad kra pao were to die for. It’s also nice that they have a fully stocked bar and super reasonable prices! The pool was kept spotless and was the perfect place to cool off and lounge on a lazy day. They have the most amazing massage therapist that gives pool-side massages (she’s so good I had four while there). I can’t say enough about Janzo House. If you’re planning to stay, I highly recommend allocating a few more days if you can. You’ll be glad you did (I was sad that I didn’t). Already planning my next stay!

Great boutique hotel owned by a friendly couple. They have the best food on the island! The location is great! Enjoyed the bungalow, especially at night listening to nature. You can rent motorbikes at the property and drive to Bang Bao beach in 4 minutes. Many other beaches and restaurants also close by. Highly recommend!

Gteat place close to the beach. Pool was really nice. Staff were friendly and a good breakfast selection.

Good location and activities for travellers.

The hotel is located on a small peninsula, giving you access to two beautiful beaches. It blends seamlessly with the surrounding nature, with bungalows nestled beneath a canopy of tall palm trees. The beds were comfortable, even the sofa bed. The food was surprisingly good, well above the average hotel food, and we ended up having most of our meals there during our 3-night stay. What truly made the experience special, though, was the staff. We celebrated a birthday during our stay, and they went out of their way to help us organize everything and make the occasion memorable. Overall, this is a hotel where you can genuinely feel the effort being made on many fronts, which I especially appreciated for a mid-range property like this.

Breakfast was freshly prepared by the owner Daeng and Reinhard every morning, A freshly prepared fruit plate greeted us every morning as a starter. We enjoyed being able to watch the goings on in this working fishermans village.

staff, restaurant, cheap and good 90b large beer, most thai dishes 120 to 150, many 70 to 90 on rice . great beach, other sections of beach, side of hotel. need a few hours clean up. the beach as good as other areas on island , all very similar this close to the best. great seaview rooms, 36 sm metres. incl 8sq balcony (9 x 4). lot more than 20sm quoted. aircon very good.

It felt secluded yet close to the beach. Good breakfast

Very comfy beds, bungalow looks really fresh. Not far to the beach that after all investigations looked one of top on island. Recommend
