The facilities were perfect. I couldn’t fault them if I tried. The sauna was clean and worked beautifully as well as the gym equipment. Hotel rooms were spacious, clean and comfortable. The staff were super nice, they offer laundry services and coffee along with a friendly smile. I will be returning to this place for sure.

Mai is a very nice and helpful host. Early check-in worked without any problems. Mai helped us rent a scooter. Very nice cottage with great attention to detail. Mai also gave us some homemade mosquito spray, which was very nice. The bungalows are quietly located in the middle of nature, perfect for relaxing. Mai prepared a delicious breakfast for us every day in the kitchen (where there was also free water, tea, and coffee). There was both Western and Thai breakfasts, alternating each day. Thank you very much, Mai, for the great hospitality. We would love to come back 😊

Lamphun Province is a small province, so various tourist attractions are packed within easy reach. Wat Phra That Hariphunchai Woramahawihan · Queen Chamadevi Monument · Wat Chamdevi · Ku Chang Ku Ma · Wat Mahawan · Wat Doi Ti · Wat Phra Yuen · Wat Phra Kong Rishi. all are in Mung district and walkable distance or biking. Even the furthest destination in Lei district may takes only two hours along the way there are a lt of interesting places. A whole day good planing for Traveling to all other areas of the province is possible. We went to Li District, about 100 kilometers south of the city, and went further north to Ban Thi, which is only about 20-30 kilometers away.

The people are very friendly.

The people are very friendly. Some streets are a little confusing. If you like Thai food there are many restaurants available, otherwise the selection is limited. There are many temples to visit and the Friday night market has many vendors.

Like Chiang Mai but without the mass tourism.

Like Chiang Mai but without the mass tourism. Lamphun is a quiet town, many coffee shops and small eateries. Lots of history to discover about the history of Northern Thailand, the different groups of people and one of Thailand's most important historical Monks, Kruba Srivichai.
