We were at this hotel when the earthquake hit Hualien. We were very impressed with the staff and the professional way they handled the whole situation. The rooms were good sized and comfortable. We were happy to find out that they had a supper offer from 8:00-10:00pm and the added bonus of having washing machines and dryers without extra charge made the name of the hotel so fitting. We made use of the all day cafe where we could sit and discuss what we were going to do because the roads to the North were closed. We decided to stay one more night and enjoy the excellent hospitality.

Very spacious room for a family of 4. Excellent and a lot of choice of breakfast buffet available until 1:30pm. Ping pong table and sauna also great

Staff were really friendly, she was able to help with questions like food options around the vicinity, cab hailing and sightseeing around the area. There's an inviting snack and drinks area at level 1 lobby for travellers who need a little something to recharge.

Big rooms, close to everything, restaurants, markets, shops. Very convenient

Convenient location, 5 minute walk from train station. Mini-bar open from 11am-8pm which have 6 different kind of ice cream, soda machine, 4 other different kind of drinks, 5 kind of crackers and popcorn, all you can eat or drink. Room is big, staff are friendly. Breakfast is great and dinner have choice of steak, chicken, fish fillet and pork chop. Definitely will come again

the management was there waiting for us when we arrived, was very friendly and did everything they could to make our stay very pleasant: they took us to our room, they welcomed us in the dining room with a warm welcome speech, the food was delicious specially the duck was amazing, there was a soprano singer of very high level which gave a wonderful atmosphere during dinner, there was also a scientist on the roof top to give explanation about the stars and the telescope,... I think I can say we have never been welcomed so warmly in a hotel

Everything was great and well-managed, the receptionist, cafe-like lobby where guests are free to enjoy snacks and drinks, rooms are clean and new to how well the person-in-charge and staff handles hotel guests during Hualien earthquake. Strong earthquake strike Hualien on 3rd April 2024 before we checked-out. The person-in-charge rushed to the hotel to calm and assist guests who were mainly foreigners and terrified. They shown how kindhearted Taiwanese take care of their guests like own family and friends. Felt sorry for the state of messy rooms and lobby due to earthquake. But Hualien people are tough! If I come back, will stay here again!

Really great location, one min walk to the bus terminal and 5 mins away from train station. Very modern hostel and everything looked new and chic.

Super friendly and helpful staff. They helped call a taxi at the end of our stay. Free snacks/tea/coffee. Very spacious and well thought out common area with board games, fooseball table, projector TV, multiple sofas, work benches, and a large dining/work table. Room was clean and everything was functional. Enjoyed our stay a lot. Convenient to a 7-11 across the road, eateries along the street, Dongdamen night market and a supermarket to the south, and the beach to the east.

We stayed at the Hledu hotel in winter (off-season) and it was very quiet, we were the only guests in the whole hotel! The rooms were large, clean and comfortable. The owner was awesome, he drove us to dinner at 055 Seafood Restaurant in his van and then later in the night drove us up the mountain to see a nice lookout point. He also cooked us a delicious breakfast in the morning. His hospitality was the highlight of our stay. He also let us park our electric bikes in a locked basement room overnight and recharge the batteries. So it's a good stop if cycling down the coast.

Spacious room, free water and snacks available at the reception. They let me store the bike inside building during the night. Very nice customer service. They tried hard to communicate in English.

Very nice breakfast buffet, with both Asian and Western dishes, several vegetarian dishes, and a varied menu from day to day, all dishes perfectly cooked. I would prefer sugar-free juice, but they make up for it with fresh fruit. There are also child-friendly options, like chicken nuggets or french fries. I loved the coin-operated laundry facilities on the roof. Never before had such a nice view while doing laundry, and it greatly simplified a several-days' stay.

The staff at the Bayview hotel was incredibly kind, friendly, and helpful. They were a great resource during our stay and wonderful to talk to! The hotel was well located close to Qixingtan Beach. Our room had a great view and the hotel breakfast was good. I would definitely stay here again!

Great value for money, a spacious room and super friendly staff.

Lovely little hotel in the centre of Hualien, the staff are very friendly and there’s even free snacks, water and coffee available at the reception. The room itself was clean and tidy and had everything we needed. It came with a kettle and some tea, clean, bedding and towels and the Aircon worked well. The Internet was exceptionally fast and I was able to work online, the rooms were very soundproof.

Prime location to explore Hualien and surrounding areas. Staff extremely nice and helpful. They arranged taxi to take the four of us for a full day tour of Taroko National Park which was most enjoyable and value of money. The hotel lent bicycles and riding helmets for free so we explored the city’s beautiful costal area on bikes. Room is clean, spacious with fridge, tea and coffee facilities. Guests are provided free coffee and snacks in hotel lobby.

Very comfortable stay. Beautiful building and swimming pool. The haman and the sauna were greatly appreciated. The breakfast is awesome.

It was an exceptionally good property with all the necessary facilities. Their vegetarian breakfast is highly recommended.
