Everything was allright, food was good and staff was so so nice :) always smiling and in good mood, we felt very comfortable. They offer a ride from and to airport. We also booked a safari trip with this hotel and it was just perfect. They can make you a customized offer and help you with everything. 100% recommend.

We stayed at Green Mountain the first night after arrival to Arusha and liked it so much that we booked it also for last two nights. Both rooms we had were spacious and clean, and there was a cleaning service doing our beds everyday (which we didn't expect). Green Mountain has also a very friendly and talkative staff (warm greetings to Bahati Nzuri "Good Luck") and they serve an exceptional huge breakfast - we loved it! The hotel's restaurant serves fresh local food - we tried chicken in peanut sauce, chipsi Mayai, and tilapia fish in coconut sauce. It's worth it to be patient and wait around 30 minutes for each of the delicious dishes (waiting for food in Tanzania is a standard as everything is being prepared fresh). Next to the hotel is a gas station where you can easily get a boda-boda, bajaji or dala-dala to the center. You can also find a minimarket next door and a fruit stand just on the opposite side of the road.

An impressive Lodge nestled in the coffee fields of Arusha. Not only offering lovely cabins with luxurious bedding and bathrooms, but also a nice pool to dip in after a long day of safari - or work in my case. A big plus is their community work: Shanga workshop employing disabled and deaf people from around Arusha area is located on the grounds. And a zuri café called "kahawa" (Swahili for coffee;). You then totally realize you are in Africa when the breakfast has to be watched over by game keeper - because of the monkey families living on the premises. Definitively a stay to come back to!

We stayed in the hotel for a week while attending a conference. The location was within perfect walking distance of the AICC. The room we stayed in was beautiful with good WiFi, AC and even a lounge area and balcony. Housekeeping service was very good; we received small treats like apples and biscuits in our room every evening.

Well located. Rooms really clean and comfortable.comfortable lounge areas and a bar. But it was the staff who made it such a special stay. They were all so kind and friendly and went out of their way to offer any assistance. Even organised some day trips with an excellent guide. Nothing was too much trouble.

Arush is somewhat outdated. Full of history and character.

Arush is somewhat outdated. Full of history and character. A lot of old dilapidated buildings. Ladies, I suggest flat footwear as heeled shoes are Impratical and dangerous. Footpaths are uneven and in some places there are none, there open drains with and without cover. The ground is uneven in places. People are extremely helpful and otherwise.

This area is close to the gate of Arusha N.P., Kilimanjaro...

This area is close to the gate of Arusha N.P., Kilimanjaro Airport and Arusha Town. But....the area has it's own treasures: a beautiful tropical mountain forest where you can make different one/two/more hour walks. To spot Colobus monkeys, a spring, running little rivers, lots of different trees and flowers, butterflies, birds....little paradise. Also close is Lake Duluti where I made a canoe ride. And Chemka Hot Springs.. It has supermarkets and a market but also quiet nature.

My stay at the Arusha Serena Resort was truly unforgettable.

My stay at the Arusha Serena Resort was truly unforgettable. What I loved most was the serene atmosphere and breathtaking scenery that surrounded me. Taking a leisurely walk around Lake Duluti, listening to the sweet melodies of the birds, and enjoying the warm hospitality of the friendly staff made my experience truly special. The staff went above and beyond to ensure my comfort and needs were met. However, I did encounter a minor issue with a water leak in my bathroom, which I hope the management will address to maintain the high standards of the resort. Overall, my stay at the Arusha Serena Resort was wonderful, and I would highly recommend it to anyone seeking a peaceful and memorable getaway.

I loved the cool weather and pleasant people (mostly). Our taxi driver was so kind and considerate, ensuring we found our accommodation and were well settled in. Others helped me get the currency right till the numbers clocked in right in my brain, making sure I didn't lose money or get taken advantage of. Life is relaxed there. Loved the cuisine. I also attended a wedding and experienced new culture It was worth my time! We had a cook who made us superb meals! lots of coffee plantations.

I will return once I am ready with my safari. USA River has a lot to offer. Close to Arusha National Park, on the slopes of Mount Meru. Close to Kilimanjaro Airport and Arusha Town Centre. And still in the middle of nature or little authentic Tanzania villages. Beautiful area to stay a bit longer!

This is a beautiful property with lodging in individual huts, that provide plenty of room. The rooms are nicely decorated. The grounds are beautiful. - full of flowers and manicured grass. Nice to wake up to the singing or birds. The breakfast buffet was plentiful and delicious. I also had two evening meals. The service was outstanding, as was the options for dinner. Everything was well prepared. Our party was late getting to the property, but I called and advised them to which they replied no problem. They held the dining room open for us around 9:30 pm. I highly recommend this property while staying in the Arusha area.

Arusha is at the heart of the East African Safari.

Arusha is at the heart of the East African Safari. It is the tourist capital of Tanzania. Here, many tourists arrive from all corners of the world to climb the great Kilimanjaro Mountain or get on a safari across the land of the Masai, including Serengeti National Park. The town is full of history, with great museums and cultural sites. It is the political base of East Africa as it hosts the headquarters of the East African Community which brings together 7 countries. The people are vibrant, the coastal influence in food and cuisine is evident, the bars are 'çhaotic' and the vibe is vibing.
