More that a drop is great! Beautiful, quiete place that is still a walkable distance to town (30min) or quick taxi ride. Food was especially stellar and veggie friendly. Breakfast is great, very delicious fruits and eggs made fresh every morning. The homemade spreads including guacamole was an especially nice touch

I absolutely loved everything here and would 100% rebook when I come back to Tanzania. Tulivu is situated in a quiet area surrounded by the most beautiful gardening work. Tropical plants are every where you turn, and provide such a serene atmosphere for a peaceful and lovely stay. This was the best accommodation I had in Moshi and even wanted to stay longer! The rooms are thoughtfully decorated, clean, and spacious. The bed was incredibly comfortable for me (I tend to like more firm beds, and this was it!). The pool provided a nice respite from the hot afternoons. Breakfast was great - plenty of options from fruit, pancakes, bread, hot options (vegetables, potatoes, cassava, etc.), made to order eggs, and chia seed pudding. Staff is very friendly and super helpful with anything you need. They can help arrange day trips/activities as well as transport around town. What a perfect stay here, truly 10/10. Can't wait to come back!!

Liked: The hotel manager, Digna Mwacha, provided exceptional service. She was incredibly responsive even before we arrived—coordinating our transport and making sure everything ran smoothly when our flight was delayed. She ensured our group had clean, comfortable rooms with a private soaking pool, which was a wonderful touch. One of the most meaningful parts of our stay was a school visit that Digna helped us arrange. We brought donations and got to see an incredible program supporting local moms and kids. It was truly impactful. We also had a traditional dance performance that we had planned in advance—it was fantastic! The energy was so fun, and we even joined in. Such a joyful way to spend the evening. And the pizza from the restaurant? So good!

Stayed one night due to landing the night before my stay at Serval Wildlife. Easy to get to from airport- about an hour away but comfortable taxi ride. Very clean, and felt comfortable and safe. Hot water in shower and good shower pressure. Clean towels - room didn’t get too hot. Very nice decoration in the hotel I liked the jungle look. Good menu selection. Friendly staff. Affordable.

Moshi is a friendly mid sized town.

Moshi is a friendly mid sized town. The street markets are nice to visit and there are numerous day trips to experience. It is great to visit before or after your Kilimanjaro/Meru hike or safari. People are friendly and helpful here and I felt very safe.

Go to the Arusha, there have more choose.

Go to the Arusha, there have more choose. And there is much more bigger than Moshi. And will get more convenient. I like go to local market there have lots of fresh foods you can touch the culture of locally person.

A very awesome visit in Moshi thanks to Moshi Hostel Lodge...

A very awesome visit in Moshi thanks to Moshi Hostel Lodge staff. Jenes, Gaudensi and Vitalis are great hosts, lots of fun and very accommodating. We watched TV in the main house living room in the evening. The next morning we had a lovely breakfast and planned our day. Lots to do around Moshi. Next time, I need to stay longer and this is the place I will be. Thank you for the hospitality.

Walk around the property. Many things to do in Moshi. Indioitaliano has the best Pizza in moshi. Be sure to get a view of Kilimanjaro. From the rooftop bar. Rafiki Supermarkets have a great selection of items. Waterforlife statue at round about on the main road. If Hostel life is for you make sure to see what Hostel Hoff has to offer.
