The staff was very pleasant & accommodating. The Hotel was clean, bed was comfortable. It was just very peaceful. The breakfast was good. There was 24 hour computer and internet on the 1st floor for anyone who needed it. The coffee & tea was available 24 hours. If you wanted to relax in the dining area you could. Of course we love the size of the rooms. Never a disappointment. Breakfast is better than most. Eggs, fruit, an array of juices, bagels and toast. They really should add some type of meat. I love how you can easily walk downtown (about 4/5 blocks) for restaurants/nightlife or the Crayola factory. Literally my go to hotel.

Nice town but very conservative with some Trump like bigotry...

Nice town but very conservative with some Trump like bigotry. Nightlife was very little and not much of an atmosphere. We went to visit Dorney Park which was the highlight of the stay and we really enjoyed it. The water park and water rides close on August 31st as a daily thing. The park then opens only at weekends for the Halloween Haunt which was amazing and well recommended. Real graveyard sets with actors playing Zombies with Halloween attractions that are full of scares. Universal Studios 'Halloween Horror Night' were not as good as this and clearly taken the whole idea from 'Six Flags' Who are the company that owns Dorney Park We also recommend the Lost River Caves. Other than that there is nothing of real interest there. The town is pretty much 1970s in its design and attitude. Next time we go to Dorney Park we shall stay in Philadelphia as it is one hour drive each way. Do not stay in Allentown if you identify yourself or any member of your group as LGBT+ as you will not feel welcome.

Booked this due to the how close it was to the airport.

Booked this due to the how close it was to the airport. Very convenient and nice to have a shuttle to the airport. Which was half of the cost of parking your car at the airport. Added bonus was the complimentary breakfast. Staff at the hotel very nice, and always working.

Very cute town with a lot of restaurant options.

Very cute town with a lot of restaurant options. Close to Lafayette College. I ate at the River Grille for lunch, I was excellent. I had breakfast at Billy's Downtown Diner for the second time this trip. I was just as amazing as the first time I tried it.

wanted to be close to Steel Stacks without spending a lot of money, Also didn't want to be too far from Ramsaysburg Historical Homestead, as I needed to go there also. The View Inn worked out well and I had all I needed - easy access to route 22 (or 222) as well as a restaurant (Perkins) right next door, plus Giant, Aldi & Walmart within 5 minute drive, plus probably a few other restaurants. Didn't really see much of Bethlehem itself other than Steel Stacks. But I loved Steel Stacks. My main goal was to see a convert at Ramsaysburg and then head home. So that was accomplished.

did not see any adult supervision with kids running in hallway, kids were not bad, just having fun. kids were 10-12 yr. old group i believe. not sure how many kids were staying in each room, as we were trying to fall asleep. We did not complain to management, just an FYI opinion.

3 ridiculous "fees" added to final bill e-mailed to me: one was $7,50 Cleaning Fee, after we had already left $$ on bed as we always do. Breakfast was sparse, to say the least; approx. 5 strawberries, not many more blueberries, disappointing.

The area we stayed in was the historic district as well as the artistic district. Loved the murals on the buildings. Many restaurants had an Alfresco dining experience. We opted for a "dive" bar for an early evening meal. Best hamburgers and quesadilla that we've had in a long time. Everyone we met was friendly and helpful. The area was kept very clean. There were flowers, trees and greenery everywhere which made our walks even more enjoyable. And, of course, the kids LOVED their time at the Crayola Factory.

It is an area where the old steel manufacturing plants still stand as a testament to it's past as a manufacturer of steel products for this country. Along side it is the new Wind Creek Event Center. A nice marriage of the old and the new!

Great walks along the riverfront; the confluence of the Delaware and Lehigh Rivers. Sunday morning farmers market was the bomb! Evening dixie rock group along the water with folks bringing chairs to enjoy the weather and music. Good breweries local with great food and a fine venue, The State Theatre, for concerts which is what brought us to Easton. A restaurant, called the Thyme Grill on the Roof was over the moon. Tasty food, a view that couldn't be beat, fine service. Don't miss it!!
