The staff was so polite and patient, they helped me out with every question.
I really enjoyed the stay in this property, right next to the motel is a restaurant/brewery (cabin creek) with amazing food.

We love the history of this cute mountain town.
We love the history of this cute mountain town. The Hotel de Paris, now a museum, is fascinating - well worth a tour. We've done the Georgetown Railroad loop at least 3 times. If you can catch it in the fall, the color of the aspens is beautiful. You can take a tour of a silver mine mid-train ride. Enjoy visiting the shops or dining in the old part of town.

We stayed in Georgetown because of it's direct access to Guanella Pass and the great hiking trails available there. We are too old for camping so we stayed in a motel. Once away from I-70 the town is cute and walkable, with the sound of mountain streams. There are a couple of ok restaurants. This is obviously an inexpensive place to stay if skiing the big resorts along the I-70 corridor and the town has facilities to accommodate skiers.

The rooms and place are tired.
The rooms and place are tired. Our first room had an oder and no top sheet on the bed. To her credit, the female clerk placed us in another room which was decent.
Georgetown is a neat town with two micro breweries. Also a scenic drive starting on the west end of town near historic district.
