I booked the Wentworth for my wife and I (plus two other couples with whom we were vacationing). We ALL loved the place!!!
Our bedroom was very well appointed. It felt simply felt luxurious from the bed to decor. We appreciated the snack area was well-stocked with yummy treats.
The staff were super-welcoming and helpful. And one evening when our group of six was finishing our food in the lounge, one of the staff (maybe the manager?) came by our table to remove our garbage (plastics and recyclable containers). I really didn't expect that level of service as I would have cleaned up after myself. The Wentworth definitely treated us in an "above & beyond" fashion.

The staff were simply lovely, it was gorgeously decorated for Christmas and they even left us stockings filled with candy canes on our doors on Christmas Day. The outdoor heated year round pool and hot tubs were simply lovely and the backdrop of the mountains was lovely as well.

The area has no public transportation including uber or...
The area has no public transportation including uber or taxis so having a vehicle prior to arrival is a MUST. it is a ski area with harsh winter feels so be prepared for a frigid cold. Not regular snow weather, a brutal cramping cold. If you want to ski or enjoy some solitude, North Conway has mountain views on both sides. A fair amount of space between buildings so you get a sense of peace when perusing the area. Many breakfast and lunch spots even with live fire places and that small town vibe but dinner options are a bit limited so enjoy a hearty lunch. A nice couple getaway area to even drive around at any time.

Wonderful, quintessential New England town. Incredible location next to rivers, mountains, hiking/ski areas, some of the better restaurants in New Hampshire. Good proximity to many attractions up Routes 16 or 302 heading North, or down Route 16 to N. Conway and Conway.

Bartlett was a great location for easy access to both Pinkham Notch and Crawford Notch areas. It is a quiet area outside of North Conway but close enough for restaurants and shopping. Jackson village is close by as well. There is a supermarket within 3 miles. We enjoyed cross country skiing and the many beautiful hiking trails this winter. The snow is always reliable and the whole area is a winter wonderland. We enjoy the white mountains in summer as well. There is an abundance of activities available in all seasons!

We prefer Conway to the more crowded more touristy North Conway. It's a pleasant small town with good casual restaurants [ Mexican, tavern, fish, breakfast, but nothing fancy, expensive & gourmet] convenient to hiking but not crowded with shoppers. The Scenic Inn was perfect for us.

A nice outdoorsy place. We could feel the natural beauty of the area. The people were friendly and considerate. Prices in the area were reasonable did not seem like a tourist trap. The temperature was very pleasant. The food was good. Looking forward to going back.

North Conway is one of our favorite places to visit.
North Conway is one of our favorite places to visit. Plenty to do and a beautiful area. Downtown is fun to walk and people watch. Lots of shops to browse. Kancamagus Highway is close by and so beautiful. The North Conway Railroad is fun.

The area was quiet and not over busy, a few restaurants in the town but a lot more available in North Conway. If you like hikes and visiting places like Mount Washington then this is a great place to go.
We were there in late September so I am sure in 2 weeks time the trees would have looked stunning in the peak fall and if you are into skiing then there is a lot there for you as well
