It was very comfortable, great size room, excellent location. I can see why it’s so popular with their evening drinks and snacks, we really enjoyed that. Staff were excellent as well. Will definitely stay here again next time.

Great hotel with so much history and character, and a great reputation for being haunted, although we didn’t see any ghosts lol. Friendly staff, we asked to check in early and they had our room ready for us with no hesitation. The room was also very comfortable but our room faced a building site and they wasn’t mentioned beforehand.

It was quiet to rest. Everything I needed was provided - an iron, a hair dryer, extra sheets and towels. Pleasant and hospitable staff. The room was clean, as were the linens. But the decor already requires some interior refreshing. It's quite suitable for a simple stay and a place to stay for a few days.

San Antonio has several things to do on the riverwalk area...

San Antonio has several things to do on the riverwalk area for adults and kids. I traveled with my wife and kids and really enjoyed the sites but also enjoyed the downtown fun. The tower of Americas is being worked on but was still fun and exciting. The Byrd scooters made it more enjoyable for the kids. Drury Plaza on the Riverwalk is our go to, the rooms are big there is 2 pools and 3 hot tubs. The gym is close by so as the kids are swimming you can get a quick workout in. The balcony oversee the riverwalk and a beautiful light show on the cathedral. You can also make a day of historical structures. All in all 10 out of 10.

This is a very nice hotel located conveniently to restaurants and the interstate. The facilities are very nice and the room was very clean. The bed was comfortable and quiet. Even though we were close to the interstate, we didn't hear any road noise. The TV was located in the middle of the room with the bed on one side and a sofa on the other. The only way you could look directly at the TV was sitting at a desk in front of it which was inconvenient.

This motel looked very inviting on the pictures on booking.com, but in reality this motel is a dump! This motel is made for truckers, hookers, and one night stands! It is not made for families. As soon as I walked in my room I knew that I made a wrong choice!

Our stay was good. Location was good-right off the highway. Had nice pool n fitness center. Staff was really nice. Room was big an clean Only complaints I have are that there were only two towels -one wash cloth-one hand towel for a room that had double beds. Not enough! Also the bathroom n vanity just really looked run down. Rust or something was in vanity. Also the bathroom door dirty needed cleaned or repainted. Also ceiling of bathroom has lots of dust clusters.

The rooms where nice and clean, very modern. The whole hotel in itself was. The rooms where also very spacious. The beds very comfy! But on the other hand..........The pools water was green🤢. It was dirty and the kids could not enjoy it! The staff was meh😑 not friendly nor mean just there..... really no interaction or "care" they did there job and that's it! Upon check in the young man at the counter spoke maybe 3 words to me.. lol gave me the room keys and that was about it. Did not even validate it was me or ask for my debit card and explain the hotel as front desk usually do upon check in. Upon check out, I checked out at 6am. The front desk lady was asleep in the back and took her a while to notice I was standing in the front desk. She said not one word to me and handed me the receipt, when I asked " is that all?" She said "yes" and that was it...

We took a tour of the river walk on a tour boat. The area was very well thought out and and you had plenty of nice hotels and restaurants to choose from if you want a relaxing or romantic weekend. The Amusement parks are about what you would expect. San Antonio has plenty of museums and shops. The popular history spots and theaters are there for for your enjoyment also.

Booked a king size bed with a hot tub. Only problem besides the room smell was there was NO HOT TUB! I booked for my daughter's wedding night. Management did not correct or attempt to help. STAY AWAY FROM THIS PLACE!!

The Best Western Plus at Elmendorf is set right off the highway but because it is among tall trees, it was nice and quiet. The rooms are well-appointed and clean and there is not a lot of noise from other guests. While I only stayed one night for business, the facilities looked great and the staff was friendly and helpful.

Best things for us 73 year olds were The Alamo, the river walk, to Market Square and breakfast at Mi Tierra. And the rodeo at Frost Bank Center, perhaps we were lucky to catch the finals of 2 weeks of competition? A guided tour of the Alamo was fascinating, as was a river boat trip but if you can walk then do walk up the river to the Pearl area and just enjoy, maybe get a shuttle boat pass to get back?
