We come every year. We stay in the large suite with the living room. It has two queen beds and a pull out sofa. We love everything there. The size of the room, The staff, Updated bathrooms and the amenities. The staff goes the extra mile for sure. They let our group go outside and play cornhole and set up the fireplace for us. We had an amazing evening. The only thing that we think could help out is maybe some newer softer beds. But it won't keep us away from going back next year. Thank you for an amazing stay..

I am always pleasantly pleased with the cleanliness of the area. No trash along the highway or streets, lawns in the town were immaculate. Shopping was in abundance. The Hershberger Farm we visited was interesting and the meal we got from the food truck was yummy. We shopped in their market and prices were reasonable and selection was plenty. The weather in May isn’t always good though which was the only negative thing during our trip.

Millersburg and the surrounding towns are wonderful places with so many shops. Lots of small shops and antique stores plus thrift stores and boutiques. Please keep in mind this is the Amish area and most places are closed on Sundays.

We had stayed at this location two years ago and loved it, Often motels and hotels go down hill after so much use. The Carlisle was beautiful and the people warm and friendly and so willing to help. We live in Flowery Branch, GA and wish we could visit more often.

Great place to go for a getaway.

Great place to go for a getaway. Plenty of shopping and great places to eat. If quiet is what you are looking for get a back road map and take a drive. Beautiful farm country. It is an Amish based area so most places in town close at 5, great for people wanting a slower paced vacation.

We don't have a fair assessment of Millersburg as we came in for an overnight on SUNDAY. We ate at Bags and it was wonderful and would highly recommend. We were able to browse several antique stores on the main street, but most things were closed which is typical of that area on SUNDAYS.

Berlin is a good area that is located close to the shops and places to eat along with theater for performances that come to the area. We enjoyed Der Dutchman for dinner which is always great food and provides wonderful views of the sweeping hills of Amish Country We did see a concert while there with Moe Bandy who did a great performance. The shops are beautiful and inspire you to decorate your home for the season .

I have been going to Millersburg for years - it is a stunningly beautiful County in Ohio especially when you get off the beaten track - there are many great more ""tourist" destinations like Berlin and Walnut Creek, however I am an artist and the entire County is an an amazing canvas- coffee shops-Bags Restaurant or any of the Amish eateries are excellent - As stated , being an artist , get a good map and go out and be inspired by the beauty of this amazing County

It's always a pleasure visiting Walnut Creek and the surrounding area. The various Amish restaurants, shops and attractions are well worth the visit. The area is also loaded with various craft shops and antique shops to visit as well.
