Beautiful place to stay and feel like home, found this place and never planed to stay at the Riverbend, but the Hotel looked so nice, that we did and drove a bit furhter for Niragar Falls and back. Breakfast is really great! Loved it and to work out and the comfort in the Hotel.

Brand new modern hotel: light wood, well lit hallways, great lighting fixtures and very clean, Location is excellent for wineries, close to Geneva itself. 20 minutes to Geneva on the Lake (though now mostly closed for the season... Of course, right near SPIRE. Great breakfast. And the suite had a wonderful kitchenette: 2 burner stove, small dishwasher, apt size fridge, coffee maker, pots pans etc etc

The room and overall service during our stay were acceptable...

The room and overall service during our stay were acceptable at the hotel Courtyard Columbus Downtown. However, the property charged my credit card more than the final invoice. I only discovered this after receiving my credit card statement a month later. When I contacted the property, they claimed the extra charge was for damage to a microwave oven, which we did not use at any time during our five-night stay. We were never informed of any such issue during our stay or at check-out. In fact, the front desk confirmed everything was fine and assured us that the blocked amount would be released within one to two weeks. Despite this, the property refused to refund the excess charge, stating they have photographic evidence. This experience felt unprofessional and very disappointing from a reputed establishment.

I didn't have a lot of time for sightseeing and exploring...

I didn't have a lot of time for sightseeing and exploring but I did make it to the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame (not really my thing but now I can say I've been there!). Also visited the Cleveland Museum of Art which had an unexpectedly good collection. I tried some African food at a suburban restaurant, and stopped at Cuyahoga Valley National Park on the way home. Although I have been to Cleveland several other times, this trip was especially fun and I would definitely like to go back and see more.

Ate at a few local restaurants (no chains) and enjoyed the food. Getting to the various places was a little confusing, but that's more due to me being somewhat directionally disabled (plus I had never been to Cincinnati).

We were in Dayton, Ohio for only one evening and stayed at The Drury Inn & Suites (Dayton, North). Therefore, we cannot really comment on the city itself, since we left the next morning. However, The Drury Inn & Suites was phenomenal! The Dayton, North area was packed with restaurants of all kinds, never saw so many in one place (near our hotel). We can only comment on our hotel experience because we did NOT venture out; too tired from the drive. Here is our review for the hotel: The Drury Inn & Suites (Dayton North, OH) was one of the FINEST hotels we've ever visited. The staff, managers and wait-staff were all polite, friendly, well informed, attentive and approachable. The room was EXTREMELY comfortable, clean and spacious. The extra benefits such as complimentary drinks and dinner were more than we expected. It was an all around EXCEPTIONAL and OUTSTANDING experience. The message behind this family-owned franchise is clear; they aim to please with EXCELLENCE, without pillaging your working-class wallet. Only wish there were more of their hotels throughout our country. We would highly recommend The Drury Inn & Suites.

The location of the Double Tree by Hilton was convenient,...

The location of the Double Tree by Hilton was convenient, however if you are looking to stay near Sharonville, KEEP LOOKING! Traveling for work, my stay was short. so not much exploring the area. When making your plans to stay in or near the area, DON'T include Double Tree by Hilton as a possible choice. I don't know what happened to this location, but it shames the Hilton name!

Less than a one hour drive to the Ark Encounter, Creation...

Less than a one hour drive to the Ark Encounter, Creation Museum, and downtown Cincinnati. There was alot of traffic however. We enjoyed eating the famous Cincinnati chili at Skyline Chili and Lucious Q. We also enjoyed walking along the Ohio River and the historic Roebling bridge.

Such a cute city. It was a great overnight stay trip. We are from cincinnati so it was a great quick trip. Would have loved to stay and explore more. We visited the Marblehead lighthouse and Kelley’s island while we were there.

Toledo has an excellent art museum and is an hour away from another excellent museum in Detroit. Great zoo and wonderful MetroParks, particularly Oak Openings half an hour west of town. You can go half an hour in the opposite direction and be in the best birding area in the Midwest, Ottawa National Wildlife Refuge. Sylvania Fossil Park is a premier site for gathering fossils. Fallen Timbers National Battlefield preserves the site of a decisive battle.

Dublin is a lovely suburb of Columbus.

Dublin is a lovely suburb of Columbus. We enjoyed walking around the Old Dublin area, and ate an excellent Italian restaurant called Mezzo. In addition to their regular menu, Mezzo offers an entire vegan menu! Our favorite spot is the short hiking trail that leads to Indian Run Falls. It's steps away from downtown.
