Beautiful small mountain town hotel. Wonderful rustic decor. Roaring fire in the common room in the evenings. Very comfortable beds and pillows. Staff were all very friendly and accommodating. They have a shuttle that can run you into town or to the ferry. Gorgeous outdoor pool and hottub. Fantastic breakfast included. We were thoroughly impressed and are already making plans to return!

We were in transit from Washington to Victoria BC on the ferry and picked this hotel and were very happy we did. Very nice, spacious room with balcony where we could sit and enjoy a Walla Walla Rose with a spectacular view of the waterfront area. Close to great restaurants and the ferry early next morning. Very helpful reception staff. Free parking. First class and very reasonable price.

The level of care from the staff at this little motel was great. It's an older motel, but the people really care and are proud of it. Whole foods type grocery next door, and a super flat easy walk into downtown.

For a town that sits at the entrance of a National Park, I...

For a town that sits at the entrance of a National Park, I was very surprised at the towns appeal. I was very surprised to see homeless people and lots of vacant run down buildings. I felt like I didn't leave parts of Portland. But that didn't stop them from keeping everything very expensive in town.

Great location to explore a few areas in the Olympic peninsula / National Park - Sol Duc Valley, Hoh Rainforest, Mora coast. A few different restaurants to try, all pretty good food. Great little pub in town

Lovely little town....must go at lavender festival time (July)..great place to explore Forks (twilight filming area) great place to stay either before or after ferry to Canada...great town for fish dinners...always nice weather...always love my time in Sequim

Such a delight. Had breakfast at The Cup. Seriously delicious. Walked around the downtown for several hours. There were lots and lots of shops and restaurants to go to and of course the beautiful harbor was everywhere. They offered ferry rides and whale watching but I had already done that on Vancouver Island on this trip. Hated to leave. Don't know why everyone doesn't live in Eastern Washington State.

La Push and the Forks area are great to visit.

La Push and the Forks area are great to visit. Lots of great beaches and hiking available. Bring food in case the restaurant is closed or you don't want to travel back to Forks for a meal. Bring a sweater if you walk early on most days.

This property did not live up to expectations.

This property did not live up to expectations. There was a wedding taking place when we checked in and we were not forewarned that the parking, lawn/outdoor access and bar access would be limited or closed off. The noise coming from the party disrupted the peaceful nights sleep we were hoping for and the lack of WIFI service meant that guests were resigned to sitting in the lobby with no food, drink or means of entertainment (except looking out the window at the wedding guests having an enjoyable evening). Rooms are small and outdated and not in working order (shower door did not open/close). The atmosphere was underwhelming the service terrible and to this day, the complaints have not been addressed. For $500/nite - I would definitely look else where for accommodation in this area. It's a beautiful part of the country, unfortunately ruined by a one nite stay at this lodge & poor communication by the management of this property.

We loved the Oceancrest hotel and the dinners there, our walk on the beach, and recommend to also check out small artist galleries and coastal towns in the surroundings. An absolute gem is the nearby Lake Quinault and its stunning rain forest: check out the Rain Forest Nature Trail with its interesting information boards about the "eco-web" of this rainforest.

We had a beautiful view from our room. Stunning, really. We were quite comfortable in every way. I would recommend this room for couples who want to have a “getaway” weekend, to feel spoiled, and enjoy themselves. It’s a special place! We ate in their farm to table restaurant. We walked the trails. We were able to take the ferry to other islands and into Seattle.

The ADU is really cute with all the comforts of home.

The ADU is really cute with all the comforts of home. The patio is a great place to relax with a glass of wine. It backs up to a wetland and the trees make it really private. The kitchen had everything I needed. The bathroom is really nice and the shower is amazing. I found the pillows on the bed too firm. There are softer pillows in the closet but I didn’t find them until the morning. I enjoyed my stay and would definitely stay again.

Favorite eateries: Kokopeli and Great Indian Food. The waterfront is lovely and it's fun to watch the ferry and other ships come and go. Attended a new moon star party on Hurricane Ridge. 4 large telescopes were set up by enthusiastic astronomers. The Saturday Farmers Market was wonderful!
