United StatesEverything about this property from the private location , the amazing bar, sauna, and hot tub. To the wood-fire pit or gas on the 2nd tier to relaxing on a hammock. The three tier deck was amazing, overlooking the woods. Woke up with a cup of coffee, sat outside, and just watched the deer and listened to nature. I would highly recommend it and will definitely stay again.

United StatesThis is an unusual motel in that the rooms are set apart and somewhat elevated with small cute porches. More like little cabins, my room was spotless, the bed was firm and very comfortable. The area was quiet and pleasant. I would stay here again.

Nice town in tri-state area to enjoy the Delaware river and being out in nature. I came from Arizona during the winter, not a good time to visit. Too cold there visiting family for a vacation. Pain in the butt to get there from New York City airports.

I usually won't stay in a room that has a door directly out to the outside. I feel safer in a room thats indoors and opens to a hallway. We were traveling with my dad, my ain't, my twin sister and my 11 year old granddaughter. We were having trouble finding a room for the night the Scottish inns popped up and we decided to stay. Im actually glad we did, we had an excellent dinner next door at a little diner. Food was awesome very healthy portions. And the over all stay was great!

Love the peace and quiet, 🌳 trees, streams, deers 🦌 etc... The Cabin however needs an upgrade in all furniture, facets paintes etc..most everything here is Rusted ,peeling off the wall or dirty furniture...Roofs from outside too are breaking apart and looks extremely RUN DOWN!! If this place was truly fixed up and Maintained, it would be really beautiful 😍..

The hotel was practical, clean, and - for most parts - well run. However, it did not have working wifi in many rooms, a major inconvenience for business travelers. I had to use an ironing board near the room door for work and still the signal was very weak.

The room and bed were very comfortable. The food (limited days open) except free breakfast was every day. The staff was wonderful. The town was charming and lots of restaurant options. There is also a diner nearby for more affordable food that was very good. Hardly any traffic. Easy access to routes nearby.

Loooooved it! Would definitely go back. I am not a hiker but I grew up camping in the woods and love nature. Some areas are a little more of an incline then others so pick and choose who you bring wisely (dogs included)! Very open range of where you can go. Not strict, aside from recommending you stay on the pathways - which is expected. We went April 22nd-24th and it was perfect with the weather and lack of crowds. The giftshop is big and nice too. Definitely recommend checking this place out for nature lovers. The waterfalls are amazing. Some on the smaller side, but still special. The pathways and steps throughout the trails really help.

This hotel is fine & the breakfast was good.
This hotel is fine & the breakfast was good. The check-in employee said she had to charge us $30 more since we booked through a 3rd party site but would refund the extra fee if we did not harm the room. We were shocked by her statement. She would not provide any print-out showing this bill or policy.

A lovely, mid sized town in the Pocono Mts area.
A lovely, mid sized town in the Pocono Mts area. Perfect location for traveling around seeing sites. Nearby is Hawley, another small town which offers access to Lake Wallenpaupack, a large manmade lake/reservoir offering fishing, boating, swimming and a beach.
Very good restaurants in Milford, from Naked Bagel up the Hotel steak house!
There is more to see and do, so we'll likely go again soon!

It is a beautiful spot and we visited on a week day so it was not too crowded and tickets cost less than on a weekend. The park is well maintained and the trails are well marked, indicating the level of difficulty required to cover the entire length of each one.
We walked the main green trail - just a short 15-20 minutes with wonderful views of the main falls - and then covered a good portion of the yellow trail without too many steps. It was right after the northeaster that hit the area on the Tuesday, so the trails were wet and muddy, but we took our time and were safe. I believe you would need to be a seasoned hiker to cover the more adventurous trails, ie the blue and red trails, as a lot of climbing is required.
