It was a farm-like environment, enjoyed watching at little creature that was rooming around, the staff was quick to respond when you require something. Very friendly staff and always put on a smile. I liked the fact that, it was very easy to check-in even though we arrived very late, the host made it very easy for us. At times we get concerned when doing the booking, because you are not sure if you are not being scammed, the host called me immediately after i mad payment, that alone put in at ease, she explained everything from check-in and assured me that, they would be reachable anytime should we require assistance.

We stayed at Eco Camp, this means that you sleep inside a tent, comfortable but suitable to more warm temperature, than it was during our accommodation. It was cold for us but tolerable. The main attraction was daily driving with Qiu (hope that pronunciation is right) with an aim to find "any animal that moves". And we found almost all of them... And we eat three times a day (too much). The food was excellent, thanks to a chef. The atmosphere in the camp was very friendly, The fynbos is marvelous. marvelous. Very nice experience.

Absolutely amazing Villa location (Villa 4) right on a waterhole teaming with wildlife. We felt like we were in another world! Resident hippos came out to feed on the banks in the evenings, buffalo came down for a swim, rhinos for a mud bath and even a giraffe came by for a visit. The lake is full of birds and aquatic life. Villa was spacious and had everything needed for a comfortable self catering stay for a family of 4. Splash pool was warm and a perfect addition.

We loved the location of the accommodation as it had many activities and restaurants in the area. Not too far was Santos Beach which was amazing! We loved Mossel Bay so much that after travelling to many other places in South Africa, we rated this destination as the very best so far!!

I was pleasantly surprise by Seeplaas as well GrootBrak River. I did not e ven know their was a little town. Clean, lots of places to eat. Seeplaas fantastic, we sat on the stoep the whole afternoon just looking at the view.

Love the tranquility of the area.
Love the tranquility of the area. The beaches are pretty and clean. Dolphins appear often while walking the beaches in the morning. Scenery is amazing with the mountain view one side and the beach the other side.

Main purpose of our visit was game watching.
Main purpose of our visit was game watching. And this turned out to be excellent. Being very lucky to spot all kinds of animals we had the privilage to be accompanied by an outstanding guide - „King David“. Knowledgeable, experienced, helpful and very friendly. Thanks a lot, David!
Suggestion for improvement: We missed dustbins and better cleaning service in our room…

Mossel bay offers good restaurants - we particularly enjoyed Delfinos Seaside Restaurant. Many fantastic coffee shops too. Early morning runs to the point and shoreline was simply wonderful. Viewing the fireworks display from the guesthouse was special. There are many interesting spots to visit around the garden route nearby.

Seeplaas was excellent. Will definitely go again. The room was clean and well laid out. The view and sound of the ocean is heavenly. Enjoyed breakfast every morning, also looking at the sea the whole time. Saw whales and dolphins playing right in front of seeplaas.

It’s been one of the best places to break away since my grandparents went on holidays. Hartenbos has kept up with the times and can proudly boast with its holiday atmosphere. If you havent been, make sure to go as soon as you are able.

Our two night stay was better than we expected.
Our two night stay was better than we expected. The games drives were excellent because we had to find the animals (they were not in pre-arranged locations). Our guide (Ruan) was brilliant and did whatever was needed to ensure we saw everything. Accommodation was comfortable. Would recommend stay at the lodge. Staying in one of the villas means a 15-20 drive to the lodge for the game drives (2 each day) and breakfast, lunch and dinner.
