South AfricaBest peacefull getaway place to ground your soul and achieve total equilibruim away from the hassle and bussle of everyday life. Everything was exceptionally clean and neat. Nothing was out of place and the studio was equipt with a proper large fidge freezer to hold all our food for the 4 days. The host was very attendful, towels was changed twice and the small gestures like fresh roses, beach towels, and beachball rackets was thoughtfull. Special thanks to Ms Visser and her team. You will defnitely see us again.

United KingdomLinda and Peter were very friendly. Peter took time to explain how the farm worked to my husband which he really appreciated. Linda came with medicine for my upset stomach. Added bonus: HOME MADE BREAD so fluffy and utterly delicious! Also milk straight from the cow... we were not expecting these added touches. We felt cherished like part of their family! Another bonus was the horse riding into the mountains! This was a wonderful experience!

Host Elize was amazing and went out of her way to make us feel welcome & assist us.
Beautiful location just off the beachfront. Apartment was spotlessly clean & neat with very comfortable beds , lovely linen & an abundance of towels.
Lovely touches like fresh milk in the fridge, tasty rusks to enjoy with the Nespresso pod coffee and a nougat gift in each room.
Two generous en-suite bedrooms, one with a full bathroom including bath. Lovely open plan living area and a outside patio/ barbecue area with table & chairs & sun loungers that is sheltered from the wind which can get strong on the beachfront.

Lovely and very spacious apartment.
Zebras and tortoises were very nearby and there were lots of beautiful birds . All were easy to look at and take photos of.
There was a very good photo list of birds and flowers, (and snakes) available in the welcome folder and this was very useful.
We went on two good long walks in the massive area of the reserve. Fabulous long unspoilt views especially from the view point from where you could see for miles all around.
Gourikwa is a beautiful place to be .

EVERYTHING! Location was perfect. Close enough to town but remote. Stayed in the bachelor suite which has everything you need. Fully equipped and shared access to the pool and river front. Stunningly beautifully kept landscaping all around! Extremely peaceful. Perfect blend of quality resort type infustructure while still keeping a relaxed family farm vibe. Highly recommend!

Everything it was very comfortable nice Chris and Ryna and Welsh were fantastic. The cooking of Ryna was delicious, the help of Welsh wunderful and the entertainment of the farmer Chris was super! And the 🦒 tip was briljant.

Albertinia is a small country town without the big fast food...
Albertinia is a small country town without the big fast food take aways . Very rural . You can buy the basics at one of the cafes or Pizza place . There is not much as far as shops go so it is a stopover to break a long journey or a week or two of total peace and quite without too many modern day interruptions. There is a braai area and all you could want to have to have an enjoyable stop and a good night's sleep and no rush to get you out in the morning .. I simply bought rolls and cold meat and yogurt at Piet se kafee as I did not want to cook . Coffee is provided although if to a heavy coffee drinker you may want to buy a bit extra as most guest houses only give you enough for two or three cups of coffee . I had a nice chat with the owner who told me about the abundance of underground water and about the area in general...This is not a property where you can come in and drink and party and be a nuisance to others . . No smoking inside the chalets which is excellent @

We also had a lovely breakfast at Lilliput Social Cafe and Bar. Best coffee I've tasted for ages.
Our stay was too short to add more to the review.

Riversdale is a rural destination, no crowds, very safe.
Riversdale is a rural destination, no crowds, very safe. It is surrounded by active farms. The town has well stocked shops ,pharmacies, petrol stations etc. There are a few great holiday facilities , self catering chalets, available.

It's a destination where owners obviously keep their properties neat and tidy. Nearly all lawns were cut recently.
Being a destination - not a drive through location - adds security to it...

Radical Raptors is a bird rehab center that offers interactive shows. The shoreline is beautiful. The local shop "Koffie Stories" makes the most amazing toasted sandwiches. Everything closes at 6pm. This is the ideal holiday spot if you want to unwind, relax and enjoy nature. Everything is walking distance.

An interesting small town with long, sandy beaches and a few rocks. Meeting the eels at the tourist information center was a highlight and hearing about archeological history of the area was interesting. Scoops Ice-cream is delicious. Some houses tempt fate by being built on the sandy estuary area but add character to the town.

The choices of restaurants and the quality of the food are up there! Unik restaurant felt as if we were eating at a Michelin-starred establishment. Well done. Also, On the Rocks is highly recommended. The overall neatness of Stilbaai town itself improved 100% over the past two years. The influx of more occupants is evident in the upgrading of many of the "old" establishments; e.g., the "Square" is now a lovely "health" section to visit.

an interesting town, all facilities and the old prison dating to the Boer War very well maintained with cells containing olde wares for sale, and very good eating area with delicious cakes

A very cute area, beautifully located, with a great beach...
A very cute area, beautifully located, with a great beach and coastal walk. The town might get very crowded during peak season, although that wasn't the case when I was there. There is only one restaurant, and only two shops with limited supplies, so it's best to stock up in Stilbaai en route.

It is very peaceful and for nature lovers.
It is very peaceful and for nature lovers. Very clean and remote and a true hide away gem. Not too far from Mosselbaai . Lovely and quiet. Very easy access and tarred roads. Restaurant to eat out but braai facility and fully equipped rooms.
