Absolutely loved staying here! Thank you so much to the host Janine who met us to do the keys handover and explain everything. Communication before we arrived was excellent, the house was beautiful, exceptionally clean and had everything we needed including space in the garage to park our hire car overnight. Just wish we got to stay an additional night!

Place was very neat and clean Everything that you could possibly need was there. Oven, Microwave, Airfryer and coffee machine. Host was an absolute pleasure to deal with. As it is Sutherland and cold our host even put the airconditioner on ahead of time to warm the place. Very thoughtful

Raka is the perfect choice for anyone visiting Sutherland. It is within close walking distance to several restaurants and attractions in town, and is incredibly good value for money. The house is authentic, very spacious and comfortable - with 2 large bedrooms, a living area with an indoor braai, a fully stocked kitchen, and even has full Dstv. Anneline was a friendly host and facilitated a truly fantastic stay for us!

Die Stal was amazing! We thoroughly enjoyed or stay here. The host was lovely. The weather was icy (which was to be expected), but there were a comfortable beds with electric blankets, multiple extra cozy warm blankets to ensure the heat stays in, a fireplace, spacious dining table where we played lots of fun games, a kitchenette, small lounge and bathroom with a shower. Perfect for a holiday! The calmness of the area was unbeatable, with unforgetable sunrises, sunsets and starry skies. We wish we had stayed longer.
