The place is so beautiful from the gate entrance and it’s quiet. The hotel inside is stunning too, I liked the wall portraits, the restaurant setup and the menu is versatile. My room was very clean and elegant. I definitely recommend it.

The place was very clean, its like staying in a penthouse. Communication was instant. Customer service was extremely exceptional. Very peaceful, quiet and secure place. York Lodge is made of charming English bungalows (with modern amenities) in a lush green compound. Our compliments to Margot the owner for developing such a beautiful property with a blend of foliage (old trees and new plants and green islands) It was like staying in a botanical garden. Lounging on the broad verandahs, hearing sounds of birds and insects in the air conditioned temperature of Harare was bliss.
The bungalows have modern amenities and this really helped us unwind!
