Für reinen Strandurlaub ist Santa Maria die bessere Wahl. Wer die Insel Sal und ihre Bewohner kennenlernen möchte, empfehlen wir Espargos als Basislager. Mit den öffentlichen Bussen ist man gut unterwegs, für die Attraktionen abseits der Ortschaften empfiehlt sich eine geführte Tour. Wir haben uns auf der gesamten Insel sehr sicher gefühlt.
