Situated on Banana Island, a 30-minute luxury ferry ride from Doha, the resort features 800-metre private beach, Anantara Spa, 6 dining options. We took my mom to Banana Island Resort during her visit to Doha and rented a 2-bedroom villa with a private pool — we enjoyed every minute of our stay! 🌴 The arrival process was smooth and well organized, and we were pleasantly surprised to be allowed both early check-in and late check-out — that has never happened to me before, so I was definitely happy! The resort is clean, green, and absolutely beautiful. We used both our private pool and the beach — both were amazing. Complimentary fruits and snacks were a lovely touch, and breakfast had a great selection of food with stunning views. We also had lunch at the Italian restaurant — delicious food and fantastic service from a very attentive team. Everyone we met, from housekeeping to restaurant staff, was polite and always greeted us with a smile, which really made the stay special. Our host, Ronald, was also fantastic — he gave us a tour and made sure we had everything we needed.

The service is warm, professional, and consistently attentive – whether at the front desk, by the pool, or in the restaurants. Hospitality here is clearly not just a word, but a lived value. The food? Simply outstanding. A wide variety, fresh ingredients, and creative dishes. From breakfast to dinner, everything was on point. I particularly appreciated the mix of international options with refined local touches. Even as a frequent traveler, I discovered new culinary highlights. That said – we’re giving this hotel a full 100 out of 100. The positives far outweigh the few minor issues. We felt incredibly well taken care of, enjoyed every moment, and left with nothing but great memories.
