    Wilpena Pound Resort is the perfect location to visit the Flinders Ranges with lots of scenic drives and walks that is suitable to all. The room was nice and comfortable and clean. We dined at the restaurant and eat local specialties and enjoyed the buffet breakfast.

    The “resort” style rooms were set in a lovely garden with natives that attracted birds and wallabies at sunset. Gorgeous! Great outdoor seating area for morning coffee and night star gazing. Good chef in the restaurant, very happy with all our meals and reasonably priced. All staff were lovely. Fabulous to see the property is being run by local countrymen. IGA and fuel on site so convenient! Rooms a bit pricey but kind of understandable considering remote location.

    It was a great base to see the Flinders Ranges and especially Wilpena Pound. The food at the resort was really good and the tours and flight we did from their were great.

    Accommodation and restaurant were first class. Walking around the resort area and trailhead at night good for wildlife spotting, even for rock wallabies that we were told were only at Brachina Gorge.

    There are great walking routes around the resort. Bar and breakfast available with reasonable cost. Supermarket near the information centre has everything which is so convenient.

    The resort is at the entrance into the Pound and has some excellent tracks suitable for hiking for all levels of fitness. We glamped and the tents were comfortable. It got cold at night and although the tents were kind of heated, my elderly parents got cold and the resort reception was able to put them into a resort room for their second night, which they said was nice a warm. Thank you WPR.

    Cant recommend this place enough. It was in one word fantastic we will be back. Our safari tent was brilliant. The resort area was great with great food (great chef). Staff were amazing had a great night watching the footy and having a few drinks with the staff around the firepit.

    The fabulous location within the resort with access to the hiking trails was fabulous. We were thankful to be given an upgrade to a slightly bigger room. The bed and shower were great.

    The peace and tranquillity with all the comfort and luxury of a resort. The location and views are amazing. We took the sunset trip which is highly recommended. We'll stocked IGA and great variety and restaurant on site. Big shout out to Mick for sharing his knowledge with us.
