Very quiet and relaxing the staff are very friendly, the room has a private pool and there is a public pool as well and the beach is just 3 minutes behind

The facility itself is a full package,as a family we all had a great time,the kids had an amazing experience. Above all the customer care was top notch,in all the sections we were saved with much love and care we will never forget,all the staff were happy to save us

We had a wonderful stay at the hotel. Everything was perfectly organized and the staff was extremely kind, helpful and always ready to assist whenever needed. I truly felt at home. Our room had a stunning ocean view that made the experience even more special. This place offers pure relaxation, a perfect detox, and a great opportunity to explore and learn about the rich local culture, which is truly fascinating. This place is a magical little oasis with an amazing vibe. Paco & Maria are excellent hosts, super helpful with all our requests and helping to book trips. We love you 2! They created a special place with a beautiful garden, lovely 3 pools and cute bungalows. The rooms itself are spacious, super clean with comfy big beds. You can also book yoga classes or drum sessions and every week is a live music event with local singers. Was a highlight for us as well. The breakfast was always tasty and every day something different. Food in general, I mean lunch and dinner, was yummi, too! Also a big thank you to the rest of the team, everybody is so friendly and welcoming. We would recommend this place 100%!!!❤️

Our stay was absolutely perfect! The location is simply breathtaking, with direct access to a secluded beach that felt like our own private paradise. Tomek and Malgo were the most welcoming hosts, making us feel right at home from the moment we arrived. Their warm hospitality created a truly unforgettable experience. The staff was exceptional, especially those in the restaurant who served us delicious meals. It was a peaceful vacation and my partner and I could truly relax and recharge. Highly recommend it.

Zoi Retreat Hotel is a hidden gem. My stay was nothing but WONDERFUL. The staff is amazing: warm, welcoming, and very attentive. From the moment I arrived, I felt cared for and at home. The room was beautifully decorated, very clean, and extremely comfortable, with thoughtful details throughout. The AC worked perfectly, the bed was great, and everything you need is provided. Parking felt safe, there was always electricity (even during local outages), and the Wi-Fi was consistently strong. I was able to monitor my emails easily and stay connected at all times. The beachfront setting is stunning, with umbrellas, lovely views, and the most peaceful sunrises. The pool is amazing, and the entire property feels cozy, serene, and private. Perfect for relaxing away from the crowds. The food tasted amazing and was clearly made with high-quality ingredients; the chef is excellent. The cocktails were great, and I got a massage that was incredible, I highly recommend you book one during your stay, you leave feeling like a new person. Later during my stay, the security team really stood out, they assisted me with a flat tire, which I appreciated. I drove to several other beaches around the island, but Matemwe felt more special and peaceful every time I came back. Zoi Retreat made the experience unforgettable and very special. I would return without hesitation and highly recommend this hotel to anyone visiting Zanzibar.

Just Heaven Apartments exceeded all my expectations! The manager and staff were exceptionally friendly, welcoming, and helpful throughout our stay, ensuring everything went smoothly. The apartments are spacious, comfortable, and fully equipped with everything you need. Resting on the great sunbeds right in front of the ocean while watching the waves, fishermen bringing in their catch of the day, and local kids playing was pure bliss.

Had such a great time ; they helped my husband set up a great birthday dinner for me and they danced and brought out a cake with my name , it was wonderful . The location was so tropical and the staff is so friendly . Can’t wait to come back.

I had an amazing stay at Sunny Villa! The owner, Sameer, was incredibly generous, kind, and always ready to help with anything we needed. His warm personality truly made us feel at home. The entire staff was just as lovely—always smiling, friendly, and welcoming throughout our stay. The property itself was beautiful and well-kept. Sunny Villa went above and beyond to accommodate us, and we didn’t have a single issue during our visit. Everything from the hospitality to the peaceful atmosphere made this stay unforgettable. I honestly wish we could’ve stayed longer—it was that special. I’d love to come back someday and would absolutely recommend Sunny Villa to anyone visiting Zanzibar!

We loved the experience of staying in a boutique hotel - it truly felt like home after a few days! You leave your room and you reach the pool, the beach, and the restaurant in less than a minute. The rooms are comfy, clean, and nicely decorated. The pool is quite small, but serves the purpose. The location is ideal for a holiday by the sea, whereas all major day trips require at least a 75-minute drive from the hotel. On the other hand, Mnemba Island is just opposite the hotel. The staff are nice and always ready to offer a smile!

The staff were so friendly and always available for anything we needed. They all had a great sense of humour and were just amazing. They went out of our way to help no matter what. The rooms were spacious, aircon worked extremely well, no mosquitos as they sprayed every evening and provided mosquito nets on a 4 poster king size bed. Great cupboard space to store all your clothing, and a decent size easy to operate safe using your own combination code. The dining room had a fantastic breakfast from a cold buffet of yoghurt, fruit, salads, and breads to hot food which was delicious and perfectly presented. Lunch and dinner menu was extensive, catering for all, and all meals were really tasty, and served timeously - kudos to the chef!! Swimming out to the reef at high tide was a huge highlight for our group, and the two swimming pools were a great treat to relax and cool off. The Spa treatments are highly recommended! We will definitely be back!

The entire atmosphere was nice, close to the beautiful beach with white sand. It was on my taste. The staff was wellcoming, educated, helpful, professional. The room was big, the bed was confortable and also big, air conditionate, fridge, fan.

Perfect vacation. Location was good, food was very exquisite. Swiming with dolphins was in front of the hotel. Turtles zoo was only 30 minutes away. And the most warm welcome ever experienced from Leigh. She was very helpful in every our request and made our vacation delightful.

I cannot explain enough, how perfect my stay was. As a solo traveler, I came there to relax and couldn’t have chosen a better place. Staff is the absolute highlight of this already gorgeous place. Everyone was mega helpful and kind and at service the time. The beach is beautiful, and food was a total surprise, the level is comparable to a proper high end restaurant. Cannot recommend enough!

From the moment we arrived, we were warmly greeted, and all our needs were attended to. Our bags were carried into our room as we had a welcome drink. After a full day of traveling, the air-conditioning wasn’t working. We mentioned it to the manager who had it attended to immediately while we ate dinner. Done. The grounds were super well maintained, it was private, quiet, lush with bougainvilleas blooming everywhere. The pool was regularly attended to, the staff was continually hospitable when we asked any questions or mentioned any needs. The villa itself feels like you are in paradise. The rooms are all decorated in neutrals, wood decor and beautiful cotton sheets on the beds. (It’s as good as the pictures look.) The breakfast is delicious and we ate several evening meals at the.B.V.U. They were tasty and fresh! The staff were amazing! And seemed genuinely happy as they did their jobs. When it was time to rest or read, the common areas are quiet and inviting. It’s just a beautiful spot. We were able to rent a scooter for a couple of days and a car right from the front desk. Reception took care of it all. Both the owner, and the Manager, (Anna), were attentive and kind and went out of their way to make our trip memorable. It was near a perfect vacation.

Our experience of zanzibar cannot be complete without this resort. Truly a paradise. I give them an 11/10. You might think this is an over exaggeration, and yes, it is not. Why? Because they also don't hold back on their sensitivity. The staff in mambo have sensitivity on 20/10. Whatever they lack as a facility, they make up for in sensitivity. Truly, they do not lack much. Clean, airy, spacious, noiseless, very clean again. Now to the sensitive part; they need to be given a thripple thumbs up thats why I give them 20/10. They will TAKE CARE OF YOU. They make sure you are comfy, always asking if yoh are fine and even if you are not happy they go out of their way to make you happy. As much as you pay for this service they make it worth the while. MAMBO IS A PARADISE OF SENSITIVE PEOPLE WHO WANT YOU TO ENJOY YOUR HOLIDAY AND BE AT PEACE NO MATTER HOW SHORT OR LENGTHY YOUR STAY IS. THEIR MANAGER IS A GEM. I'D GO AGAIN IF I HAD THE OPPORTUNITY. The breakfast was plentiful, a buffet and you can order from the menu as well. The food in the restaurant was delicious! Had an incredible seafood risotto. This place is magical, artistically decorated, beautiful rooms & right on the gorgeous beach. The staff was so kind and accommodating. Francesco made sure I had everything I needed. Zanzibar House was a true oasis of peace & relaxation.

The hotel rooms had great architecture. The pool was nice. And it’s right on the beach.
