Brunei Darussalam is located on the north coast of Borneo and is a unique kingdom rich in Malay culture, peace, and tranquility. This place is quite amazing and impossible to describe. You just have to go. It is huge and they have everything. The grounds are so large they pick you up in a cart to drive you to things. The lobby has massive white and gold pillars. The room was huge and spotless. We had a stunning ocean view. The bed was very comfortable; we slept so well. The breakfast was amazing. The room wasn’t cheap but it was a great value. The service was absolutely impeccable.

We highly recommend the Ocean View Deluxe room in the Garden Wing (there are two wings: Garden and Ocean). The Garden Wing is a bit cheaper and more crowded, but guests can access the entire resort; only breakfast and the pool have some restrictions. We absolutely loved our stay and spent a total of seven days, split into two stays. If you go on a tour, you can leave your luggage with the hotel. The area is far (1-2hours depending on traffic) from Kota Kinabalu, set along a very quiet and secluded beach and nature strip. The hotel facilities are spacious, with many activities and restaurants—enough entertainment for several days. All staff went above and beyond in terms of friendliness and helpfulness. We stayed during the Christmas and New Year break and were seriously impressed by how well and professionally the staff handled all the guests.
