Arwi and his team make sure that they help out in everyway- transfers, food, activities and more. Our kids loved the simple home cooked meals and the family environment. A perfect place for us.

Set amidst a nature reserve overlooking the South China Sea, Shangri-La Rasa Ria, Kota Kinabalu features relaxing stays in elegantly furnished guest rooms. We highly recommend the Ocean View Deluxe room in the Garden Wing (there are two wings: Garden and Ocean). The Garden Wing is a bit cheaper and more crowded, but guests can access the entire resort; only breakfast and the pool have some restrictions. We absolutely loved our stay and spent a total of seven days, split into two stays. If you go on a tour, you can leave your luggage with the hotel. The area is far (1-2hours depending on traffic) from Kota Kinabalu, set along a very quiet and secluded beach and nature strip. The hotel facilities are spacious, with many activities and restaurants—enough entertainment for several days. All staff went above and beyond in terms of friendliness and helpfulness. We stayed during the Christmas and New Year break and were seriously impressed by how well and professionally the staff handled all the guests.

Timba Garden FREE TOWN AND JETTY TRANSPORT tilbyr et utendørsbasseng, hage, en fellesstue og restaurant i Semporna. Great little spot in a jungle neighborhood. Super friendly owners. We were hungry when we arrived and they were making chicken curry for their lunch, and added us to the preparations. Very unique location. I slept really well then off the next day for diving.
