The rustic rooms at the Black Cat Guest Ranch are furnished with wood paneling and a work desk. Each has a private bathroom and a mountain view. Perry and Amber were amazing hosts, we arrived late and they left is well written instructions to check in without an issue. The hand cooked breakfasts were awesome and the location is amazing!

Other on-site activities for guests include bowling, tennis, horseback riding, and golfing. What is not to like it is iconic, beautifully organized, so much staff to help you. The rooms were beautiful. You don’t have to leave this hotel for the entire weekend. It is that beautiful and accommodating.

The location was fantastic to get into Canmore and to drive out to Banff. It was the perfect base station for all of our activities. The underground garage was quite useful with all the snow.
