This resort, built in 1888, is styled after a Scottish Baronial castle and is a National Historic Site. Located in Banff National Park, it offers 11 restaurants and 14 shops. What is not to like it is iconic, beautifully organized, so much staff to help you. The rooms were beautiful. You don’t have to leave this hotel for the entire weekend. It is that beautiful and accommodating.

Located 60 km from the Town of Jasper, Jasper Gates Resort offers rustic log cabins and motel accommodation. All rooms are fitted with a flat-screen TV with satellite channels. Generous one-room cabin, helpful staff. Located about 40 mins from Jasper, but lots of wildlife spotting on the drives. Bed and couch were very comfortable. No laundry facilities onsite
