Alberta: Pesquise resorts

Located in Banff National Park, this resort features suites with views of the Rocky Mountain. Easy access is available to Bow Valley Parkway and Lake Louise is 20 minutes’ drive away. Beautiful complex in a quiet location. The staff was friendly and helpful. We stayed in a woody cozy room with a jacuzzi inside. Everything was comfortable and clean. In the complex there are a few chairs and fire pits by the creek where you can sit, enjoy the views and make a fire. Be prepared to not have cellular phone service but the WiFi worked quite well. However the best thing to do is to relax and enjoy the views, it is a great nature experience. Be also prepared to manage your own food, as there is no restaurant on site, or to drive 15 min by car to Lake Louise Village. The price is expensive but all the places around Lake Louise area are and for me the experience was worth it. Great chances for bear and elk sighting in the area, therefore you need to be careful.

Friendly and helpfull staff, excellent bus driver on the shuttle bus to Lake Luise provided by the hotel, he gave us very interresting information on the way to and from Lake Luise and made our visit there very special
