The owner and staff are super helpful and welcoming. The day trips were incredible.

Offering sweeping views of Li River and Karst mountains, it features free Wi-Fi in all areas. Free public parking is also available on site. We had a great stay! Upon arrival, we were kindly offered a free room upgrade, which was a lovely surprise. The staff were extremely friendly and helpful — they went above and beyond to help us plan a full-day cycling route. There was no information available online in English, so their assistance made a big difference. The breakfast was decent, but there’s still room for improvement. Overall, great value for money and we’d definitely recommend this place!

The pool was a perfect size for us and it’s a great location to get around by didi / moped, especially with the mountains in the view. I would recommend this to absolutely everyone. Was so relaxing and refreshing.

The main attractions of Lanshan Wangyue Hotel are the outstanding location in a village not too far from the town of Yangshuo, but with a feeling of old rural China and magnificent unobstructed view of the karst peaks in all directions; and the friendly service by the owners, Mark Ma, Li Wu and Siwei, and their hard-working and helpful staff. Additionally, the rooms are commodious and offer full views-- distant mountains from the front, the village and close mountains on the back side. The beds are new and great for sleeping, plus the rooms have good insulation and are very quiet. The proprietors find out what the guests wish to do, and custom arrange and lead excursions into the surrounding countryside. In an area that has lots of tourists (almost all domestic Chinese), they can take guests on bike trips or hikes to places that no one else visits. Ask them to take you on the half hour climb up to the old Qing Dynasty bandits lair in a cave high above the surrounding countryside, or to one of the ancient villages in the area. So much to see and do in the area, with some of the finest scenery in China.

The staff were incredibly friendly and helpful and helped us plan our itinerary in Yangshuo. Would absolutely recommend!

This is a beautiful property with nice, large comfortable rooms right on the bike path a short ride outside of Guilin. For our first time to the area it was ideal for day trips in opposite directions to visit Yangshuo and the rice terraces - both truly amazingly memorable experiences with incredible landscapes. We especially enjoyed breakfast with our attentive host who cooked us delicious noodles each morning. Thank-you for a wonderful stay!
