Location is perfect for exploring the forested Vosges, the Vineyards and their beautiful villages, Strasbourg, Colmar and further afield to Germany's Blackforest, and even Lucerne and the Swiss Alps are close enough to visit. The accommodation has lovely relaxed seating areas outside and the ssuna and small pool were very enjoyable after a hot day exploring. Laurence was charming and friendly and helped us with anything we needed, with helpful tips from her husband Bernard on the best local vineyards to visit. Their chocolate labradors are happy to get belly rubs from any new friends they can make. Laurence keeps bees and sells some delicious pine honey. Both Laurence and Bernard were happy to welcome an LGBT at their property. LGBT friendly.

Good location, 10/15 mins walk to tourist part of city. Excellent secure parking for our motorcycle in the underground car park. Room was ok with comfy bed, very good value for the cost. The receptionist was great, very helpful and friendly. The breakfast was enjoyable too. Would definitely recommend this hotel if you don't expect luxury. Excellent value you for the money

It's a cute town with vineyards all around. Nice property. Ofcourse it's not a luxury hotel but more of a bed and breakfast Pitstop. We did a over night as we were transiting to Germany from Switzerland.

The personal was really nice and helpful, the location is perfect between the train station and the city center (15min walking to each). You can use a microwave and have hot water for free. Really convenient. Is not a luxury place, but ok for the price and for 2-3 days.

Château de Pourtalès is a historic castle located near to the city center (10 minutes by car). It has been transformed into a luxury hotel, offering a unique and charming accommodation experience. The view from our room was nice, we've seen the park and I have had the change to do my morning run in the park.
